Due to reactions at high temperature, it displays colors in a range of organic greens, golds and ambers. The center of the shade features diffusing cullet in a complementary color. This traditional repeating Japanese pattern, called Seigaiha, is featured on a fused and slumped blue glass bowl. The interior of the glass displays the white concentric bands in the pattern. The chandelier hangs by stainless steel aircraft cables from a simple stainless steel and brass hardware. The fixture is designed to be direct wired, and uses a 60 watt recommended (100 watt max.) standard incandescent or compact fluorescent light bulb (not included).
