Middlefork Luxury Home BuildersDesigned and built in conjunction with Freemont #2, this home pays homage to surrounding architecture, including that of St. James Lutheran Church. The home is comprised of stately, well-proportioned rooms; significant architectural detailing; appropriate spaces for today's active family; and sophisticated wiring to service any HD video, audio, lighting, HVAC and / or security needs.
The focal point of the first floor is the sweeping curved staircase, ascending through all three floors of the home and topped with skylights. Surrounding this staircase on the main floor are the formal living and dining rooms, as well as the beautifully-detailed Butler's Pantry. A gourmet kitchen and great room, designed to receive considerable eastern light, is at the rear of the house, connected to the lower level family room by a rear staircase.
Four bedrooms (two en-suite) make up the second floor, with a fifth bedroom on the third floor and a sixth bedroom in the lower level. A third floor recreation room is at the top of the staircase, adjacent to the 400SF roof deck.
A connected, heated garage is accessible from the rear staircase of the home, as well as the rear yard and garage roof deck.
This home went under contract after being on the MLS for one day.

Levitch Associates, IncorporatedThe client wanted to utilize the front yard better and replace their steep entry stairs. Levitch created a more graceful winding stair and added a small deck at the top that's a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or the sunset. We used minimal concrete over wood frame construction to reduce weight and potential waterproofing concerns while maintaining a traditional look in keeping with the home. Since the entry upgrades were done in conjunction with landscaping, the owner wanted something that looked organic. We introduced the owner to an architectural metalsmith and created different models for the railing before the owner chose a final design.

The local preservationist owner commissioned Fisher Heck to restore the house to its original roots, reaffirming its place in the storied neighborhood. Almost everything down to the studs had to be rebuilt or refinished. All new lighting and mechanical systems are installed throughout the house and a 670sf addition was added to the rear of property that adds another bedroom suite to the home. Apart from the house, a new carport and driveway were designed as a modern convenience for the owner. Fisher Heck ArchitectsAs a long abandoned structure, this historic late 1800's Shingle style house was a detriment to Cuero's residential historic district. The local preservationist owner commissioned Fisher Heck to restore the house to its original roots, reaffirming its place in the storied neighborhood. Almost everything down to the studs had to be rebuilt or refinished. All new lighting and mechanical systems are installed throughout the house and a 670sf addition was added to the rear of property that adds another bedroom suite to the home. Apart from the house, a new carport and driveway were designed as a modern convenience for the owner. Customer selected Fabuwood Cabinetry in a standard construction with plywood cabinet boxes; full overlay door and drawer style, dovetailed drawer boxes, “Matching” drawer heads, drawers to have full extension, soft close glides. Doors are also self- closing. The Kitchen Perimeter and island cabinetry is FabuWood Nexus Frost, the half-wall FabuWood cabinetry is Nexus Slate. Butler’s Pantry Cabinetry, FabuWood Nexus Slate. Granite Countertop color is “Truffle”. Chestnut was the wood used for the other countertops. Isn't it fantastic?
CLC Landscape DesignThe homeowners desired a luxurious backyard in which they could relax with friends and family. We designed and installed a rectangular pool which includes four deck jets, a quartzite patio, fieldstone walls with a built-in water feature, an extra-large ground-mounted umbrella, and landscape lighting for ambience. Quartzite was selected for the patio both for it’s interesting appearance and its ability to stay cooler in direct sunlight than other natural stone materials. In conjunction with the landscaping, we coordinated with the homeowners and the architect in the installation of the cabana. The deck was pre-existing and not part of the design.

Microworks HandymanThis project was completed in 2017 in conjunction with our Eagle Bluffs Kitchen Renovation. Designed by Richard Salter Interiors, this project featured a floor to ceiling curtain wall windows, a custom towel rack and free standing tub overlooking Garrow Bay. With a floating vanity and mirror spanning the entire back wall, this large bathroom feels both comfortable and eloquent. See if you can spot the medicine cabinets hidden in the mirror!
