This farmhouse style home was already lovely and inviting. We just added some finishing touches in the kitchen and expanded and enhanced the basement. In the kitchen we enlarged the center island so that it is now five-feet-wide. We rebuilt the sides, added the cross-back, “x”, design to each end and installed new fixtures. We also installed new counters and painted all the cabinetry. Already the center of the home’s everyday living and entertaining, there’s now even more space for gathering. We expanded the already finished basement to include a main room with kitchenet, a multi-purpose/guestroom with a murphy bed, full bathroom, and a home theatre. We met the owners of this 6-story townhouse in Philadelphia when we renovated their neighbor's home. Originally, this townhouse contained a multi-level apartment and a separate studio apartment. The owners wanted to combine both units into one modern home with sleek, yet warm elements. We worked with the owners of this World War II-era farmhouse in Wynnewood, PA, to renovate and modernize their kitchen. We met the owners of this 6-story townhouse in Philadelphia when we renovated their neighbor's home. Originally, this townhouse contained a multi-level apartment and a separate studio apartment. The owners wanted to combine both units into one modern home with sleek, yet warm elements. We really enjoyed creating a beautiful triangular, glass paneled staircase; a living garden wall that stretches up through 4 stories of the house; and an eye-catching glass fireplace with a mantle made out of reclaimed wood. With family life and entertaining in mind, we built this 4,000 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 full baths and 2 half baths house from the ground up! To fit in with the rest of the neighborhood, we constructed an English Tudor style home, but updated it with a modern, open floor plan on the first floor, bright bedrooms, and large windows throughout the home. What sets this home apart are the high-end architectural details that match the home’s Tudor exterior, such as the historically accurate windows encased in black frames. The stunning craftsman-style staircase is a post and rail system, with painted railings. The first floor was designed with entertaining in mind, as the kitchen, living, dining, and family rooms flow seamlessly. The home office is set apart to ensure a quiet space and has its own adjacent powder room. Another half bath and is located off the mudroom. Upstairs, the principle bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, with Carrera marble floors, furniture quality double vanity, and a large walk in shower.
