PAEIZ 6 project is located in Tehran, at the intersection of 3 streets. There is a small green space in the northern part of the project. For this reason, the entrance of the complex was defined in this section to ensure easier access, and to be able to enjoy the desired view of the greenery from the lobby.
The facade shell with its positive and negative horizontal levels is inspired from NAHAZ O NAKHIR (a kind of bricklaying method in Iranian historical architecture) so that the viewer can see different lights and shadows at each hour of the day. Among these shapes, Using plants also helps to avoid routine.
choosing the combination of brick and stone, while having harmony with each other, has been done in order to respect the city and in order to accompany the surrounding buildings as much as possible.
By designing windows like puzzles with different and various dimensions, in addition to being different from the common forms, has formed an integrated shape.
Vertical access is placed in the middle of the eastern side so that the units can use as much natural light as possible, so that the division and common spaces are reduced to minimum.
Stairs, elevators and corridors which are dividing the units with its transparent material led to maintaining the visual connection of the spaces and as a result, it appears larger.
As our design mainstream, use of plants in the facade, lobby, basements, the lobby between units and interior design can be seen. The yard did not have enough space for landscaping as a result of having two ramps. In order to solve this challenge, The roof of the ramp is prepared to grow plants.
The ground floor consists of two parts, the southern part is parking and the northern part is lobby. The lobby, while having seating and waiting areas, includes a guard post and security equipment, which is decorated with Fountain and plants. -1 and -2 levels are consisted of parking and storages, a gathering hall and a caretaker.
The residential project with 5 floors, totally includes 15 three-bedroom residential units with 125 to 150 square meters.
- The roof has various facilities such as bathroom, kitchen, barbeque, Jacuzzi, sunbathing area and seating and walking areas. Numerous seating spaces are located at scattered points due to the number of units and the possibility of simultaneous use. Walking paths through the gardens have defined a suitable space for walking.
Due to the desirable view to the north (mountains in north of Tehran) and south (QEITARIEH Park), the walls of these two sides have been shortened with gaps, while the western wall overlooking the neighbor is surrounded by higher walls.

This Project consisted of a deck and patio design and renovation. The deck portion of the project included: removal of existing decking, railing and skirting boards. We then installed Timbertech decking boards, Timbertech skirting boards, vinyl sleeves over the existing deck posts and installed Timbertech railing. The steps to accommodate the entrance into the hot tub were custom made. Timbertech was also used for decking to all stairs, risers and treads. Vinyl decorative lattice work was installed around the underside of the deck. This project also included excavation and installation of a stone pad for the hot tub pad. New landscape plantings were installed around the newly reconstructed deck.
As for the patio portion of the project. An existing paver patio was removed to start. Prep work was then done to the base to accommodate the new flagstone patio area. A new flagstone patio was laid with additional patio area to include access to the hot tub.
Last but not least we installed some landscape lighting. The lighting included LED under cap lighting on the steps and landing areas for night time viewing and safety.

This kitchen radiates Old World charm and modern convenience, thanks to LaBelle Maple cabinetry in Toffee with Java Glaze finish. Cool green walls and stainless appliances balance the expanse of warm wood cabinetry and flooring. Dark hardware, glass front cabinets, under cabinet lighting and other decorative enhancements provide an elegant consistency to the space.
Separate work zones maintain order. An island with prep sink and microwave cabinet is both easily accessible and out of the way. An ample countertop and a cookbook tray / media center keep your eyes on the recipe while your hands are on the dough.
And since a key to kitchen function is storage, this kitchen features a bank of drawers under the range, plenty of wall cabinets, and open shelving to keep pots, pans and pantry staples neatly organized and within reach.

This project is designed as a family retreat for a client that has been visiting the southern Colorado area for decades. The cabin consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms – with guest quarters accessed from exterior deck.
Project by Studio H:T principal in charge Brad Tomecek (now with Tomecek Studio Architecture). The project is assembled with the structural and weather tight use of shipping containers. The cabin uses one 40’ container and six 20′ containers. The ends will be structurally reinforced and enclosed with additional site built walls and custom fitted high-performance glazing assemblies.

This kitchen renovation consisted of installing Medallion Silverline Maple Door Style: Winston in White Chocolate Finish on the perimeters and Silverline, Maple Door Style: Winston in the Chestnut Finish for the island accented with Top Knobs Normandy Knobs and Pulls in Patina Rouge. Artisan Granite Collection in Natural Stone Giallo Ornamental, with an Ogee Edge was used for the countertop and 4x4 Light Travertine, Tumbled tile for the backsplash. The color palette and finishes for the kitchen were selected to bring in character, elegance and charm that compliments the rest of the Shaker Heights home. Creamy painted maple cabinets with a contrasting island strike a balance between the refinished floor and new tile backsplash. A custom pot rack was designed using cabinetry molding pieces allowing the cookware to be accessible but to also make a statement in the room. The light creamy finishes are punctuated with darker accents that get noticed, like the bridge faucet, the medallion above the range and the cabinet hardware.

The idea for Scandinavian Hardwoods came after years of countless conversations with homeowners, designers, architects, and builders. The consistent theme: they wanted more than just a beautiful floor. They wanted insight into manufacturing locations (not just the seller or importer) and what materials are used and why. They wanted to understand the product’s environmental impact and it’s effect on indoor air quality and human health. They wanted a compelling story to tell guests about the beautiful floor they’ve chosen. At Scandinavian Hardwoods, we bring all of these elements together while making luxury more accessible.

2011 NARI CAPITAL COTY MERIT AWARD WINNER; 2012 QUALIFIED REMODELER MASTER DESIGN AWARD
This 1950 brick colonial featured a floor plan typical of homes of that era--small boxy rooms, each separated by four walls. The young couple who owned the home loved its potential, but needed more space.
The main goal of this project was to create a seamless and open floor plan on the first floor, adding a family room and enlarging the kitchen. A master bedroom and bathroom suite were planned to make better use of the second level. To accomplish these goals, a 20’ x 20’ two-story addition was designed by Michael Nash Design, Build & Homes.
The new expanded kitchen and family room features limestone floors, a new gas fireplace surrounded with built-ins and glass stone hearth to complement the kitchen countertops and backsplash. Use of espresso colored cabinetry topped by a light granite countertop with brown veins running through it is one of the decorative touches that make this project stunning. The large middle island which consists of a second sink, wine chiller and seating space is another bonus point of this kitchen. Commercial quality appliances assure gourmet cooking at its finest. Large first floor windows face the home’s new flagstone patio, which can be accessed via a French door.
The second floor consists of the master bedroom with a sitting area , French doors leading into a French balcony facing back yard, double-sided stoned gas fireplace (between the bedroom and master bath) and a cathedral ceiling. The master bathroom features a large steam shower, body sprays and rain shower, a large double person Jacuzzi, tumbled marble floor and wall tiles with accents. The use of wide plank exotic tiger wood has beautified this master suite.
Keeping the homeowners’ contemporary style in mind and achieving their wishes has transformed this old 1950 colonial into a fully functional 21st Century dream home.

The carriage house seamlessly ties into the house on the left side of the porch and flows down the radius steps to access the garage. Around the granite steps is a fountain nestled between the garage and the stairs. We meticulously matched the granite to the existing foundation so you cannot tell what is new and what existed prior to the carriage home addition.

A previous client (Big Wood Lane) reached out to us to help design a remodel of a recently purchased on the south shore of Lake Minnetonka. The home had grown organically since its original construction in 1945. It had evolved over time to accommodate the needs of its numerous owners. Our client brought a new set of needs to the home that included a desire to make the lake home a comfortable destination for family and friends.
The project consisted of reconfiguring an outdated, inefficient kitchen, expansion of the bedroom wing to include individual bathrooms for bedrooms and redesign of the central stair guard rail.
The redesign of the kitchen included repositioning major appliances for greater efficiency, more seating at an enlarged island, a new pantry, and expanded views to the lake. The expansion of the bedroom wing included eliminating a three-season porch on top of the garage on the inland side of the home. The space above the garage roof was enclosed and turned into dedicated bathrooms for each bedroom. These bathrooms are accessible only from the bathrooms which provide privacy and convenience to visitors.

This inviting secondary bedroom offers a comfortable and functional retreat with clean lines and a calming neutral palette. Vaulted ceilings enhance the sense of space, while wide-plank LVP flooring adds warmth and continuity with the rest of the home. Thoughtful details include a private en suite bathroom and easy access to adjacent living areas, making this bedroom ideal for guests or family members. The simple, timeless design allows for flexible furnishings and highlights the home’s consistent craftsmanship throughout.

A bank of white Shaker drawers provides accessible storage beside the stainless refrigerator. Black bar pulls add contrast to the pale cabinet fronts, with the white counter and grey backsplash continuing the kitchen’s coordinated finishes around the small-appliance area.
Cedarstone Renovations refreshed this Harbourfront condo with a revised kitchen corner-cabinet layout and coordinated bathroom updates. White cabinetry, pale surfaces and black hardware create a consistent palette while improving everyday use of the Toronto condominium’s kitchen and bathroom.
