We believe good decor is also a conversation starter. We’ll start. Why did the dinosaur cross the road? Because chickens hadn’t evolved yet! You can thank Wes for that little gem. But in all seriousness, our Lil Foot Bookends bring whimsical fun to the home. Each dinosaur bookend is made from polyresin with a matte silver finish and looks amazing propping up your treasured tales.

Home design - eclectic home design idea in New Orleans

This was a small part of a whole house renovation. The clients went with an upscale fireplace detail. Added in a granite waterfall countertop for the bar to fireplace surround for a modern edgy look. This is a feature piece with dark stone surround that will blend with any decor. Of course the waterfall countertop is gorgeous and is a conversation starter to say the least.

Our St. Pete studio designed this stunning pied-à-terre for a couple looking for a luxurious retreat in the city. Our studio went all out with colors, textures, and materials that evoke five-star luxury and comfort in keeping with their request for a resort-like home with modern amenities. In the vestibule that the elevator opens to, we used a stylish black and beige palm leaf patterned wallpaper that evokes the joys of Gulf Coast living. In the adjoining foyer, we used stylish wainscoting to create depth and personality to the space, continuing the millwork into the dining area. We added bold emerald green velvet chairs in the dining room, giving them a charming appeal. A stunning chandelier creates a sharp focal point, and an artistic fawn sculpture makes for a great conversation starter around the dining table. We ensured that the elegant green tone continued into the stunning kitchen and cozy breakfast nook through the beautiful kitchen island and furnishings. In the powder room, too, we went with a stylish black and white wallpaper and green vanity, which adds elegance and luxe to the space. The owners of this beautiful home came to us looking for help creating an outdoor living space that would complement their empty nester lifestyle. Together we designed a swimming pool that would provide hours of fun for their grandchildren and an elegant backdrop for the many grown-up events they love hosting at their home. The pool features an expansive, bluestone deck to give young swimmers and parents plenty of space to move around, large shallow end steps to make getting in and out a little easier, and a raised spa for evening and late season use. This under-stair wine cellar presented several design challenges. Chief amongst which: how to avoid making this cramped, dark space feel like an afterthought compared to the grandeur of the rest of the home. The design team at Architectural Plastics quickly came up with a solution. A series of stepped height, clear acrylic wine racks offered maximum storage for the multi-level ceiling.
