The mixture of grey green cabinets with the distressed wood floors and ceilings, gives this farmhouse kitchen a feeling of warmth.
Cabinets: Brookhaven and the color is Green Stone
Benjamin Moore paint color: There's not an exact match for Green Stone, but Gettysburg Grey, HC 107 is close.
Sink: Krauss, model KHF200-30, stainless steel
Faucet: Kraus, modelKPF-1602
Hardware: Restoration hardware, Dakota cup and Dakota round knob. The finish was either the chestnut or iron.
Windows: Bloomberg is the manufacturer
the hardware is from Restoration hardware--Dakota cup and Dakota round knob. The finish was either the chestnut or iron.
Floors: European Oak that is wired brushed. The company is Provenza, Pompeii collection and the color is Amiata.
Distressed wood: The wood is cedar that's been treated to look distressed! My client is brilliant , so he did some googling (is that a word?) and came across several sites that had a recipe to do just that. He put a steel wool pad into a jar of vinegar and let it sit for a bit. In another jar, he mixed black tea with water. Brush the tea on first and let it dry. Then brush on the steel wool/vinegar (don't forget to strain the wool). Voila, the wood turns dark.

The custom round window with a dragonfly motif was designed as a portal overlooking the woodland gardens, and koi pond in the distance.

Shaker styled white and gray cabinetry paired with a flowing patterned quartz countertops and gold hardware make this kitchen sleek yet cozy!
Here is the bar area used for making and serving tea. Custom floating shelves match the hardwood flooring.

Lots of seating for this client's big family! Nothing like a large cozy couch to sink into, and views from every angle. We kept the color palette in this room to warm neutrals to not battle the breathtaking views.

We built our interpretation of a Japanese Tea House into the hill that rises above our home. As you climb the rustic stone steps that ascend through the Japanese Garden, you pass in front of the round window and approach the side entry.

This home stuck to a monochrome color palette throughout, to tie the open spaces together. A variety of textures kept the color scheme fresh and interesting. Diverse shapes were added here to change up an otherwise angular and square space.

This wide-open space still feels warm and comfortable thanks to the soft furnishings and fireplace. with accentually crisp execution of all the finishes, the contemporary style is allowed to shine.

This entryway and living area are part of an adventuresome project my wife and I embarked upon to create a complete apartment in the basement of our townhouse. We designed a floor plan that creatively and efficiently used all of the 385-square-foot-space, without sacrificing beauty, comfort or function – and all without breaking the bank! To maximize our budget, we did the work ourselves and added everything from thrift store finds to DIY wall art to bring it all together.
We wanted to pack as much functionality into this space as possible so we were thrilled to find this couch which converts into a full bed.
