BOSSA – the successful real wood surface programme for elegant cosiness In its 2021 collection, LEICHT entered completely new territory and laid the foundation for a new type of room concept and furnishing aesthetic in the high-end kitchen segment with the BOSSA programme. Their courage was rewarded: since its market launch, BOSSA has proven to be extremely successful and style-defining for diverse planning in the cross-kitchen living area. The characteristic design element is the vertically lined surface structure of the real wood fronts, which makes a powerful statement. Protruding, linear ridges, 7.5 millimetres wide with a gap of 5 millimetres between each ridge, give BOSSA a delicate, extremely vital, three-dimensional look. The overall grid of the ridges of 12.5 millimetres corresponds exactly to the vertical joint pattern of LEICHT – a graphic effect the new pullout system M8 also uses for orientation. The result is a stringent, visual fusion of kitchen, wall and unit fronts to create a furnishing soloist. BOSSA comes in two veneers: the version in light oak has a Scandinavian look characterised by tranquillity, while the version in dark walnut is sublime and elegantly reminiscent of Italian ‘grandezza’. BOSSA is architectural, modern, bold – and will retain these characteristics in the living space of the future, too.

After Photo. Once upon time, there was a 50-year-old kitchen who was to be banished from the culinary kingdom. Despite several face lifts and cosmetic repairs, it still could not live up to royal standards. Its appliances were ho-hum, storage capacity limited, and counter space non-existent. To make things worse, an undesireable wall separated the kitchen from its long lost love, the dining room. The two spaces were completely estranged from one another, resulting in an awkward situation for the two rooms and the royal family who inhabited them. After years of feeling inadequate for its master, the kitchen was finally rescued from a knight in shining armour named Sir Care Free. The brave and capable hero came galloping into the castle and declared that he could, indeed, grant the kitchen its wish of being beautiful and functional once again. But it was Sir Care Free’s final words that brought the most joy – the kitchen would finally be united with the dining room. Sir Care Free courageously removed the ghastly wall that once stood between the two living spaces. Now restored to its rightful place, the King and the Queen have proclaimed the kitchen as the official heart of the home and lived happily ever after. The end. The designer skillfully interweaves modern technology in her projects. This interior was designed for one of the most beautiful villas in Palm Jumeirah. The owners of the house wanted to get a luxury, extraordinary and stunning interior design that would perfectly fit this part of the beautiful city of Dubai. This modern technology allows to realize the most courageous solutions of designers and architects. The villa interior design in Palm Jumeirah has become an excellent way to highlight the benefits of architectural planning. The perfect geometry of space sets a very pleasant emotions. The main fiddle of this luxury orchestra becomes a natural marble, which the designer uses in the decoration of floors and walls. The marble surface exquisitely shimmers under the light of massive crystal chandeliers. High ceiling in a living room contributed to the fact that the visually chandeliers seem light and airy. To make the interior more expressive lighting is completed with lines of LED backlight. The author of the project zoned the space with a podium, where a dining area is located. Clean lines and perfect harmony are based on a combination of spectacular decor elements, colors and textures. Interior botanical gardens, volumetric 3D panel, modern fireplace, stylized waterfall that extends over the entire height of the wall in the living room… All these factors combining into a unique flight, fill the house with the exquisite charm of modern luxury. What used to be a cramped and dark space with mustard linoleum floors and 360 degrees of wood paneling, has become a sleek and modern reflection of a home owner’s courage and passion for living the dream. Flat panel cabinet doors and a kidney shaped island table give an appreciative nod towards mid-century aesthetics. Intentional design choices and current technology such as the recessed range hood and The Galley workstation assures the new space will function to the highest degree. Storage is plentiful between all of the large drawers and deep cabinets, the metal tambour cabinet houses all of the smaller appliances. The multi-tiered island showcases a variety of colors and textures working in perfect harmony. The higher side faces the doorway to the kitchen and acts as a bit of visual separation between it and the Entry. Dekton counters are the perfect maintenance free surface. Set on 88th Street in Manhattan's Upper East Side, this four-bedroom residence was created by merging two separate condominium units into a single, cohesive luxury home. The result is a sprawling, artful space defined by confidence, color, and a deeply personal design vocabulary. The project represents a full-service interior design engagement: spatial planning, material selection, furniture sourcing, artwork curation, and complete project coordination. Nearly every element was specified and placed by Mazen Designs, with furnishings sourced largely through Roche Bobois. The home unfolds from a striking cross-shaped hallway anchored by a custom T-shaped rug that guides movement through the space. To one side, the primary bedroom suite. To the other, a flexible home office that doubles as a guest suite, and a tranquil secondary bedroom. Straight ahead, a streamlined kitchen opens to a formal dining area and beyond that, a dedicated media and Mah Jong room designed for relaxed gathering. The palette balances jewel tones with crisp whites and greys. Bold in intention but disciplined in execution. A Maya Romanoff wall covering and curated artwork complete the layering of texture, light, and silhouette throughout. The clients arrived hesitant toward color. This Parisian paradise was designed for a very special young girl. Her Mother contacted Greene Designs looking for someone to create the room her daughter had been dreaming about for years. Due to an accident when she was an infant she has had to endure hundreds of surgeries over her life. When I heard her story I knew she was deserving of something wonderful. Her Mother and I set out to create a room that has a touch of Parisian sophistication (a place they hope to visit soon), and the fun and whimsy of a pre-teen’s room. This bedroom includes a daybed with a trundle perfect for sleepovers, a charming nightstand with a bit of “bling”, a vanity where she can do her makeup, a dresser with a mirror, and a chandelier. The paint and accessories pulled the room together completing the Parisian design. I was so happy to be chosen to design a room for such a fun, sweet, and courageous young lady.
