The idea of this project was to create a special environment that stimulates all senses in the human body, an environment that is vibrant and most importantly interactive for all ages. We began by searching for the right materials to create a specific feeling of time and space. Placement of the water feature was designed by studying how the customer used their home. The waterfalls and streams connect separate outdoor spaces and accommodate for all views outdoors and indoors. A sense of mystery is designed into every detail in this water feature. The layout of the ponds play accordingly with the sun for excellent reflections, and each rock formation has time designed into it. The environment is inviting, and interactive. Each person that walks out to explore the environment has his or her curiosity rewarded by discovering plant life, trickling streams, and several waterfalls only to be discovered by the inquisitive explorer. This living room update in Albuquerque, New Mexico was completed over 5 weeks in 2019 and included new paint, furnishings, geometric shelving, ceiling fan, light fixtures, window blinds, ledger rock fireplace surround and some accessories. The inspiration for the rooms color palette and and design came from client's collection of antique Mexican woven rugs and various curiosities collected from travels.

This wonderful French brick manor was brought to life twice, once with a gut renovation and another time with a cosmetic renovation. Each detail was carefully planned to complete a family home that was friendly, tailored and chic. The builder, contractors and designer all worked to bring this together in a short period of time. While Anne's home had lots of beautiful treasures they got lost amongst the things that were less meaningful to her. When she said she was a minimalist I looked at her in a mix of disbelief and curiosity. "Really???" It was obvious we needed to do some editing. Through a process I call "Love It or Leave It" we quickly came to a place where the only things left in the room were furniture and objects that are very dear to Anne.
