The upper level of this gorgeous Trex deck is the central entertaining and dining space and includes a beautiful concrete fire table and a custom cedar bench that floats over the deck. Light brown custom cedar screen walls provide privacy along the landscaped terrace and compliment the warm hues of the decking. Clean, modern light fixtures are also present in the deck steps, along the deck perimeter, and throughout the landscape making the space well-defined in the evening as well as the daytime.

Reclaimed wood box beams radiate outward from a central steel hub in a starburst pattern, their warm reddish brown tones and original surface character creating a dramatic focal point against the dark weathered gray brown reclaimed wood ceiling paneling behind them. The contrast between the warmer beams and the cooler, darker ceiling paneling gives this install a depth and visual tension that is impossible to achieve with modern materials. This installation showcases Manomin's custom box beam fabrication capability, with beams cut, shaped, and finished to achieve a unique ceiling configuration well beyond a standard parallel layout. At Manomin Resawn Timbers, every piece goes through a detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling so that antique character is preserved while performing beautifully in any application. Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking for a truly custom reclaimed wood ceiling feature, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. We serve homebuilders, contractors, and designers across the country. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to get started.
