The exterior of the home is detailed with dark horizontal siding, vinyl board and batten, black windows, black asphalt shingles and accent metal roofing. Our design intent behind these stand-alone condominiums is to bring the maintenance free lifestyle with a space that feels like your own.

Inspiration for a contemporary kitchen remodel in Ottawa

This cozy and creative playroom is designed with kids in mind, offering a bright, safe, and stylish environment for play and learning. A soft teepee tent and child-sized furniture encourage imagination, while built-in storage keeps books, toys, and art supplies tidy and accessible. A chalkboard wall adds a playful and interactive touch, and the room’s natural light and colorful accents create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With its gender-neutral palette and soft hardwood floors, this space is both functional and fun—perfect for growing families.

The P+M House is a new infill home for a family of four in Saskatoon’s Varsity View neighborhood. Constructed of daylight, natural wood, and human interaction, it strives to create a rich, family-focused environment that pulls nature and ever-changing sunlight into the heart of the house. Situated at the doorsteps of President Murray Park and the U of S campus, the home opens to the South, affronting an established street while allowing a row of towering American elms to provide natural shading and focus to the interior spaces. The house is divided into four program zones: public, private, parents, and kids. The internal organization is a direct result of a daylight management concept, where dark-craving spaces are condensed and allocated to areas with low-light access, while providing strategic separation between zones. Left behind as a result are airy, light-filled living spaces that offer internal / external views, space for family interaction, while taking maximum advantage of limited South and West light. The architecture begins with a main floor sectional shift that breaks the house into front & back, creating an internal topography that lets South light reach the back of the house. A trio of continuous, interlocking walls then give shape and order to the primary spaces, while openings in or between these walls extend the interior spaces into the yard and let daylight wash the heart of the house. The highly-insulated house is the result of a thoughtful process that sought to leverage the site’s severe environmental constraints (minimal southern exposure in an extreme cold climate, where temps reach 40 below) and turn them into opportunities. The house is composed of a 2800 sf main house, a 650 sf basement suite, and a 600 sf garage. It is constructed of reinforced concrete, 2x staggered stud walls, exposed spruce posts / glulam beams, and open-web engineered wood trusses. It is clad in stucco and western red cedar; with triple-glazed fiberglass windows and natural white oak finishes throughout. Inside the three-bedroom, 2,400-square-foot showcase home, Old World rustic and modern European style blend with high craftsmanship to create a sense of timeless quality, stability, and tranquility. Behind the scenes, energy efficient technologies combine with low maintenance materials to create a home that is economical to maintain for years to come. We breathed new life into this Hampton’s inspired kitchen with beautiful fresh materials in soft white and airy blue hues. We also redesigned the layout for optimal food prep, cooking and entertaining while keeping them separate from each other. By incorporating the nook area and removing the desk, we were able to give our client everything she ever wanted in a kitchen (see BEFORE pics). The lines and details of the custom hood and soft curved fretwork in the cabinetry create a sense of understated luxury and elegance. Oil rubbed bronze accents on the island legs, traditional lanterns and sconces, along with brushed nickel cabinet hardware complete the space. We also redesigned the fireplace and added built-ins to both sides for additional storage and unified, fresh new look.

Clean lines and a neutral palette with black accents highlight the original details of this 1920s Long Island Tudor that blends modern elegance with timeless charm. Classic elements meet modern furnishings for a warm, inviting space. In the elegant library, we created this custom bookcase by Juniper Books as a tribute to our client's University of Michigan spirit. Sleek black shelves and bold wallpaper set the stage, but the star is the unique book mural across the center. Each meticulously wrapped legal tome (chosen for size, not content!) hides a custom-printed Michigan football game scene. Numbered inside flaps ensure easy removal and rearranging, making this a truly interactive and stunning tribute to Wolverine pride.

A home on top of a hill with amazing lake views provide the perfect setting for a beautiful "mountain mine" inspired pool with multiple ways to interact with - this active family will never be bored! There is an antique ore cart and rail system that seems to appear from an old mine and gives the homeowner a unique iced-beverage cart. There are boulder steps that lead up to another "mine" entrance that is actually the entrance to the underground slide. This view shows the slide exit into the pool. In the background you can see the swim-through grotto and natural boulder waterfall with a 14' diving ledge. Hand cut native stone with boulders integrated into the stone retaining wall provides additional patio space with a fire pit above the pool.
