My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Interactive Construction, and especially Mike Dahlke and his crew were a joy to work with, and they did an excellent job. Mike’s crew was respectful of our space and ourselves. (We had to live in our house during the flood repairs). Mike was a great communicator and gave us weekly progress and work schedule reports. He arranged for all the trades and scheduled them. I would most certainly recommend Interactive Construction for any project. Our was reasonably small but quite complicated, as it involved an engineer and an architect. Our home had been flooded due to a design flaw in one of our enclosed decks. We live in a strata and Mike worked with the strata to remediate and redesign the deck and repair a large amount of structural damage.

I've worked with Russ and his crew on many occasions and it's always a positive experience. Led by Russ' expertise and good communication, his crew is a great collection of highly skilled and hard working carpenters. Their unofficial motto captures their ethos perfectly: "Work hard and be nice to people". Combined with their depth of talent, this makes for very successful jobs.

With a six month schedule demand and the ink on our drawings still damp, Interactive grabbed our renovation and did it on schedule. With a project manager that was half super computer and half psychotherapist and a team of carpenters who could do anything we needed in no time flat, Karen and I learned how to renovate 2000 square feet from sub-floor realignment to virtual re-wiring and re-plumbing of every inch of our '80s rancher using Interactive's business partners who were just as responsive.

We had the pleasure of working with Russ and his crew to supply the kitchen cabinets for the "Expanding Spaces" project and found the entire team to be very thorough and efficient with the homeowners vision always at the forefront. We hired Interactive Construction to do a complete up/down renovation of our home. We are thrilled with the end result! They were able to bring our vision of an open concept living space to life and give us some great ideas of their own along the way. They completely redid the kitchen with custom cabinetry and amazing lighting; opening it up to the living room, reconfigured our bathrooms; updating with new tile and mill work, replaced our windows, our flooring, and gave us a ton of much needed storage! Through all the ups and downs (as with any renovation), Russ and his team were excellent in working with us to make sure things were done in a timely fashion and within budget. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Russ to anyone looking to do a home renovation!

We hired Russ to do a complete renovation of our lower level, including taking a 1 bedroom self contained suite down to the studs. Russ also help tweak areas of the main floor to make for more functional living spaces. Russ, his crew and sub-trades were great to work with; they respected our time, family and space and we never felt like they were interfering with our lives (which can often be the case when you're living in the house during a reno). We would definitely recommend Russ and Interactive Construction!

Interactive Construction was hired as a general contractor for a renovation project in our home. Two bathrooms and a entranceway area were involved. Project was brought in ahead of time and on budget.

I gladly recommend Russ and his team of workers to complete your next project. I was under a very tight deadline to repair a balcony which could of lead to a lost real estate sale. Russ understood my dilemma and fortunately, was able to squeeze my project in just in the nick of time! The workers cleaned up and removed all debris. My only regret, I had not done the project sooner to enjoy the enclosed balcony myself! I know who I will certainly call for any future construction needs along with passing on rave reviews for anyone seeking highly QUALIFIED contractor and crew. With many many thanks Russ, Taylor and Malcolm for a job well done! Sincerely Sue Hartlieb

Commented: What kind of flooring is that?We settled on a 7" White Oak Engineered Hardwood (French Connection) for that project. The space was open enough to support a nice wide product and it looked great installed!
