This Bainbridge Island, WA Master Bathroom remodel made quite a transformation from the old existing bathroom. We were able to open up the wall between the main bathroom and shower/ toilet areas. A half wall was formed from the existing wall adding a decorative glass panel above it. Keeping part of the wall to create a beam appearance to attach a sliding glass barn door hardware to. In the shower wall, we added a window with the same decorative glass and made the wall thicker to create a shower seat and hide ducting and plumbing pipes. Avoiro colored porcelain tiles in the 12x24 size were installed on the floor and shower walls with a random glass and stone mosaic cut into strips to form a decorative listello liner detail. The sleek contemporary style cabinets are from DeWil's Custom Cabinetry Horizon line, Capella door style in Bamboo with 112 Stain. We also added a matching tall linen cabinet and makeup vanity area across the room from the bath vanity. The vanity top and wall cap are Pental Quartz/ color: Sandcastle.

We carried a 6" strip of the United Tiles Speak Easy Series, in color Silver Screen in a porcelain tile wood plank look trough the marble, so we could wrap the window with same porcelain tile allowing for easier maintenance. We changed our mines on the rock pebble Mosaic tiles in the shower pan floor. We substituted the pebbles for a more classic and timeless choice, a 2x2 porcelain mosaic in a color that blended with the wall paint color.

The homeowners started by hiring an architect to develop a vision and plan for transforming their very traditional brick home into a contemporary family home full of modern updates. This Coastal Inspired Farmhouse with bay views puts a casual and sophisticated twist on beach living. Interior Design by Blackband Design and Home Build by Arbor Real Estate.

We custom sized the corner shower (38x38) to utilize every inch of space. The shower pan floor, we selected a 2x2 porcelain tile from United Tile Edimax Sand Series in color grey. The Shower walls are 12x 24 porcelain tiles from Bedorsian Athena/ Color: Ash that I think resembles petrified wood that comes from Italy. The decorative glass and stone liner was made from random length mosaic that was cut into 3 row stripes. This custom listello liner is what is pulling all the colors together, complementing the LVT flooring and the grey field tile on the shower walls. The main floor tile (12 x 12) Centiva's Coral Reef LVT tile in their Gold Dust color. The vanity cabinet is from DeWil's Custom Cabinetry, from their frameless Horizon line. The Sirius door style is in a Walnut wood, in DeWil's Caffe stain option. This door style, wood and stain color as in the master bath area.

For three years this Westlake Village couple lived in a house that didn't quite fit their needs. A center-island breakfast bar now sits opposite a giant picture window and a show-stopping view of the Santa Monica mountains. Upstairs, the redesigned master bath is what dreams are made of. The double vanity and freestanding tub were rearranged to maximize space while the wood tile floors and stunning rock backsplash add an elemental feel.
