The new basement area below the sunroom has been turned into a dance studio, complete with tall, wall-to-wall mirrors and a ballet barre. The new basement is a few steps down from the existing floor level, providing the additional height required for leaps and bounds. The floor is sprung, with a hardwood surface. Natural light and safety egress for the dance studio is granted by a lightwell with a custom bulkhead door fitted out with tempered glass panels.

This space was created as a combination master bedroom/dance studio for this client and was part of a larger master suite addition. A king size bed is hidden behind the Bellmont Cabinetry, seen here in the mirrors. Behind the glass closet doors is hidden not only closet space, but an entertainment system. "We found Kerry at TaylorPro early on in our decision process. He was the only contractor to give us a detailed budgetary bid for are original vision of our addition. This level of detail was ultimately the decision factor for us to go with TaylorPro. This compact Master Bathroom features many space saving ideas to create a spacious underwater theme. Shelves are made from recycle wood and can be purchased from Kevin Anderson, SilicateStudio on Etsy. Space saving features include: Cut away shelves, wall mounted vanity, wall mounted toilet and barn door entry. Ann Sack tile in matte accented with glossy mosaic to give the shower an underwater waterfall feel. Large Ann Sack "sand" themed floor tile help enlarge the room.
