Dallas Baptist University cares about the health of their beautiful established Live Oaks. In order to increase sunlight to permeate through the entire tree, we cleaned the canopy of any dead, dying, diseased, or crossing limbs.
Another goal of theirs is to achieve a canopy over along the road throughout he campus. Properly pruning LIve Oak trees will give them a gorgeous shape and improve future growth.

Bedroom - large coastal master light wood floor and brown floor bedroom idea in Vancouver with gray walls, a standard fireplace and a stone fireplace

Alloy co-owner Zach Snider had a tiny second floor on his house. Being an expert builder, he thought he would just take that second floor right off and build a new one. And that he did, along with pushing the kitchen out to where the screened porch was, building a sauna, and re-thinking every other room in the house.
The footprint of the house is the same, and it still fits in with the character of the neighborhood, even though Zach doubled the square footage. The house now has room for his two little kids to grow and to find their own space without everyone bumping into each other. And if that doesn’t work, you’ll probably find their parents down in the sauna.

Michael wanted to have a natural pond in his backyard, complete with fish he caught from nearby creeks. Turtles, even crawfish have made their home here. He recently had us add the bog habitat so that the smaller life forms would be safe in a more still area away from hungry predator fish or strong currents.

Our team successfully undertook a comprehensive tree pruning project involving two large trees. The primary objective was to enhance their structural resilience and augment their visual allure. The team performed a series of activities that included removing dead branches, lessening the load on heavy limbs, thinning the crown, raising lower canopies for unobstructed sidewalk and street access, and achieving balanced canopies. All these procedures were meticulously executed in accordance with the city's established standards.

After (shown here): Palm trees are always a problem for clients year after year, especially when they grow above or near pool areas. After cleaning them up and taking the dead fronds and seed pods out it looks more like a vacation oasis! Plus, June is always the best time of year to clean palms up.
Before: The space wasn't too terrible when we arrived, but keeping the area green and lively, especially when it comes to palm trees is always the way to go. Rothco to the rescue....

This custom built log home incorporates old world beauty and state of the art technology. The Dovetail is built entirely out of local standing dead trees milled with our own sawmill. The Dovetail is certified Built Green and achieved a HERS score of 65 and 5+ stars. This home won 5 awards in the 2007 Summit County Parade of homes. Spirit Builders meticulously handcrafted the Dovetail with our own in house crew.

This project was a complete makeover. The back yard in the photos was completely overgrown and dead tree trunks to be removed. We designed it so that the homeowner could have a functional area for entertaining and a lawn space for her grandchildren.

A branch from a dead tree was used as a decorative element. I painted it a muted silver and suspended it. The result was visual interest and minimal cost. The addition of the Buddha statue and beads, along with the client's own Korean pottery works well. She loves this space to read and relax.
