The space required the removal of a chimney in the center of the room, and replacement of all windows and exterior doors with new energy efficient units. The flooring is a pre-finished Greenwood bamboo that is certified as environmentally sustainable. We removed two walls to open things up which required extensive structural work to the ceiling and a large beam. Now the kitchen is a great room for cooking and entertaining with an eating bar, new premium appliances and lots of storage.

The living room features a new media center with bookcases and tall storage. New oak hardwood flooring was installed to cover the footprints of the old walls, and laced into the existing hardwood floor where necessary.

Square Deal Remodeling Co.The new breakfast nook is not only comfortable but functional with custom fabric seat pads and storage drawers below. We integrated the TV cable box into a clever compartment in the end of the bench (at left behind the table) and installed a new cable box at the wall with no exposed wires for a clean appearance. The windows were original and left completely as-is. Now this area is a great place for our clients to eat, converse, relax, or play the guitar.
