The large 300+ gallon spa tub required plenty of additional structural support. The 2 recessed niche areas were installed during framing and are illuminated with low voltage accent lighting. Music for the bathroom is handled with (2) in-ceiling speakers.

The large format artwork hints the love of music found in this home. The Juno recessed lights are mechanically capable of tilting the lamp assembly up to 45 degrees and rotating 360 degrees so they can be aimed at the artwork. This is done above the drywall and are far more appealing than the old "eyeball" lights.

This photo shows the berm wall we sometimes use to better protect the house from north winds. At the Colrain house this wall also accentuates the Entry door. These berms make great garden area or can be seeded for grass.

The basement bathroom gets a lot of traffic from entertaining so we upped the ante with motion controlled lighting for occupancy & vacancy. No need to touch any lighting controls as you come and go. The exhaust fans in all bathrooms use remote blowers so you never hear a fan motor, just the gentle swoosh of air leaving out the circular ceiling damper.

Providing convenience & comfort at the tip of your finger. The Lutron lighting control and music keypad make bath/shower time enjoyable. The Nu-Heat floor warming comes on in the morning and evening for a couple hours respectively. Motion sensors turn off the lighting and music after 30 minutes of inactivity.

The foyer and main entry feature quartersawn red oak. All boards were 4-1/2" wide and are between 6' and 13' in length. We doubled the underlayment below so we could run the hardwood parallel to the floor joists. Curved staircase and other curved features soften the the areas presentation. The blown art glass chandelier is raised and lowered via the Aladdin lift for cleaning.

This Dining Room have several layers of lighting, The table uses small aperture recessed lighting to illuminate the table. The (4) perimeter larger aperture recessed lights add support lighting to make the room feel open and inviting. The sconces and chandelier are the rooms "lighting jewelry" and complete the presentation.
