Named for the exotic "fill" within the mattress, the Vispring Shetland Superb features an exclusive wool composition derived directly from the Shetland Isles. An incredible, all-natural insulator, Shetland wool effectively regulates temperature during the night while also keeping things dry.

The view capturing the amalgamation of two skins; the travelling skiing merging into the constant skin. A niche carved out in a way that connects the family space with the formal space producing an unending volume. The shades were derived in a manner to increase the quantum of light and reflectivity. The Living Room is inspired by the Federal style. The elaborate plaster ceiling was designed by Tom Felton and fabricated by Foster Reeve's Studio. Coffers and ornament are derived from the classic details interpreted at the time of the early American colonies. The mantle was also designed by Tom to continue the theme of the room. “Recline to dine by design” Based on a book by Bernard Rudolfsky: "The name derives from the ancient custom of reclining to dine, something very familiar to biblical scholars and ancient artists, but completely lost in Medieval and Renaissance depictions of the Last Supper.” The metallic fabric on the side walls and metal rug refer to the metal threads used in roman clothing.

Bathroom - coastal bathroom idea in Boston

A derivation/evolution of the first prototype and grain bin experiment. Unfortunately the effort stopped short of the logical conclusion which would use less materials and take less time to erect. It would not sell for as much. I'll get around to it sooner or later.

Bedroom - large transitional master medium tone wood floor and brown floor bedroom idea in New York with blue walls and no fireplace

The primary goal for this project was to craft a modernist derivation of pueblo architecture. Set into a heavily laden boulder hillside, the design also reflects the nature of the stacked boulder formations. The site, located near local landmark Pinnacle Peak, offered breathtaking views which were largely upward, making proximity an issue. Maintaining southwest fenestration protection and maximizing views created the primary design constraint. The views are maximized with careful orientation, exacting overhangs, and wing wall locations. The overhangs intertwine and undulate with alternating materials stacking to reinforce the boulder strewn backdrop. The elegant material palette and siting allow for great harmony with the native desert. The Elegant Modern at Estancia was the collaboration of many of the Valley's finest luxury home specialists. Interiors guru David Michael Miller contributed elegance and refinement in every detail. Landscape architect Russ Greey of Greey | Pickett contributed a landscape design that not only complimented the architecture, but nestled into the surrounding desert as if always a part of it. And contractor Manship Builders -- Jim Manship and project manager Mark Laidlaw -- brought precision and skill to the construction of what architect C.P. Drewett described as "a watch."
