We designed a clean and unobtrusive Home Theater space with in-ceiling speakers and an in-wall display for a streamlined look. Fully integrated media streaming control is accessible from any smart device or control device in the house. They're also automated to perform a combination of functions with a simple voice command.

Airport codes are among the most concise and recognisable symbols of international travel. Created to identify destinations with precision, three-letter combinations such as FRA, JFK and SYD have acquired a meaning that extends far beyond logistics. They can evoke the memory of an arrival, the feeling of returning home or the anticipation of a journey still to come. The Skypak Airline Trolley – Airport Codes Edition translates this universal visual language into a distinctive piece of contemporary furniture. Airport codes in a dot-matrix-inspired typeface extend across the door and side panels, giving the characteristic trolley silhouette a graphic identity connected to destinations around the world. Constructed from aluminium and stainless steel, the full-size trolley measures approximately 103 centimetres high, 30 centimetres wide and 40 centimetres deep. Its compact proportions preserve valuable floor space, while integrated wheels allow it to be moved easily between different areas. The interior can be individually configured with drawers, shelves and storage elements. In the contemporary home office shown here, dark wooden drawers introduce warmth and material contrast, while the open lower shelves provide accessible storage for books, devices and everyday work essentials. Positioned beside the desk, the trolley functions as a mobile storage cabinet without visually overwhelming the room. Its flexibility also allows the Airport Codes Edition to take on different roles in other interiors. It can serve as an exclusive minibar in a private residence, a mobile bar in a lounge, a coffee station in an office or a compact service and storage unit in a hotel suite. This versatility reflects Skypak’s approach to functional design: creating furniture that combines mobility, technical clarity and a strong visual narrative. For architects and interior designers, the trolley offers a characterful focal point that can be integrated into residential, hospitality and executive environments. In the early 50s, Herbert and Ruth Weiss attended a lecture by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius hosted by MIT. They were fascinated by Gropius’ description of the ‘Five Fields’ community of 60 houses he and his firm, The Architect’s Collaborative (TAC), were designing in Lexington, MA. The Weiss’ fell in love with Gropius’ vision for a grouping of 60 modern houses to be arrayed around eight acres of common land that would include a community pool and playground. They soon had one of their own.The original, TAC-designed house was a single-slope design with a modest footprint of 800 square feet. Several years later, the Weiss’ commissioned modernist architect Henry Hoover to add a living room wing and new entry to the house. Hoover’s design included a wall of glass which opens to a charming pond carved into the outcropping of granite ledge. After living in the house for 65 years, the Weiss’ sold the house to our client, who asked us to design a renovation that would respect the integrity of the vintage modern architecture. Our design focused on reorienting the kitchen, opening it up to the family room. The bedroom wing was redesigned to create a principal bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Interior finishes were edited to create a more fluid relationship between the original TAC home and Hoover’s addition. We worked closely with the builder, Patriot Custom Homes, to install Solar electric panels married to an efficient heat pump heating and cooling system. These updates integrate modern touches and high efficiency into a striking piece of architectural history.

This custom aluminum shade structure featuring flat end detail and a powder coated finish also incorporates integrated electrical so students may plug in devices for charging. Providing a sense of enclosure and architectural beauty, this aluminum pergola kit enhances the student common area at this Penn State University Campus in New Kensington, PA. This is a commercial grade, low maintenance pergola kit that will last for years. A powder coated custom Ipê utility screen, as seen in the right rear of the structure, was built to hide the AC units.

The Client was looking for a lot of daily useful storage, but was also looking for an open entryway. The design combined seating and a variety of Custom Cabinetry to allow for storage of shoes, handbags, coats, hats, and gloves. The two drawer cabinet was designed with a balanced drawer layout, however inside is an additional pullout drawer to store/charge devices. We also incorporated a much needed kennel space for the new puppy, which was integrated into the lower portion of the new Custom Cabinetry Coat Closet. Completing the rooms functional storage was a tall utility cabinet to house the vacuum, mops, and buckets. The finishing touch was the 2/3 glass side entry door allowing plenty of natural light in, but also high enough to keep the dog from leaving nose prints on the glass.
