Our client had a 1930’s two car garage and a dream. He wanted a private light filled home office, enough space to have friends over to watch the game, storage for his record collection and a place to listen to music on the most impressive stereo we’ve ever seen. So we took on the challenge to design the ultimate man cave: we peeled away layers of the wall and folded them into casework - a workstation with drawers, record shelving with storage below for less aesthetic items, a credenza with a coffee setup and requisite bourbon collection, and a cabinet devoted to cleaning and preserving records. We peeled up the roof as well creating a new entry and views out into the bucolic garden. The addition of a full bathroom and comfy couch make this the perfect place to chill…with or without Netflix.

We develop floorplans for commercial buildings. Ukrainian church is the project for the local community fully designed and built by our devoted team.

The Tribeca kitchen incorporates design
concepts and stylistic references to past eras, devoting keen attention to finishes and to durability. The result is a line of vintage-style furnishings that have been given a fresh, contemporary twist, through the skillful use of color and the careful introduction of decorative accessories that manage to transform the look of the whole kitchen, creating new concepts that will
win over families with all kinds of tastes.
They’re furnishings that will fit in equally well with a city loft or a country cottage, alternating modern features with sudden stylistic déjà-vus: shapes and motifs from a rediscovered, rejuvenated past.

Our clients were inspired by the idea of a master bedroom with beautiful, functional closet space, and a larger shower – more so than there loathed 36″ x 36″ corner acrylic unit.
After a number of visits, a plan was devised to build 3 closet areas, and a large shower with a floating quartz bench. The bedroom would see a dividing wall, but not to the ceiling so light could come through. The biggest of the three closets would be closest to the window, with a room entirely devoted to that space. The floor in the bathroom would feature a heated flooring system, and the vanity would have backlight lighting on the mirror.
The demolition uncovered some surprises, which restricted certain locations of plumbing, so the shower was enlarged and one of the closets was scrapped. In the end, it worked out fantastic. More emphasis was placed on the open concept closet, which thrilled our clients. They were also not disappointed with their larger shower.

This mixed use building in the West Village was purchased by a California couple as an investment with the vision to remove the office cubicals occupying the first floor and cellar, converting the square footage to a duplex home for themselves that enabled them to be bicoastal. The design of the first floor is a modern open concept where areas devoted to dining, cooking and living are all merged in the front of the street level space. To give this area privacy LED film was installed over the large street facing window that can be activated to block all view while still letting in light. The bedroom is in the more private rear of the space overlooking a small courtyard and is separated from the front space by the units bathroom. In the bedroom a folding glass wall can be opened completely to fully connect the space with the outdoor courtyard. This connection with the outdoor space continues in the adjacent bathroom with a floor to ceiling window located inside the shower. The bathroom has a unique open plan design. A huge rain shower head hovers over a large unenclosed shower that is separated from the main circulation space to the bedroom by a mother of pearl clad partition. The partition features a bench inside the shower and a custom oak vanity on the opposite side. The space in the cellar was fully finished to act as an overflow space for recreation and for guests visits. The overall space has a minimal aesthetic warmed up with the selection of finishes such as wide plank oak flooring, oak cabinetry, mother of pearl mosaic tile and playful touches such as neon lighting in the cellar.

Camp Wobegon is a nostalgic waterfront retreat for a multi-generational family. The home's name pays homage to a radio show the homeowner listened to when he was a child in Minnesota. Throughout the home, there are nods to the sentimental past paired with modern features of today.
The five-story home sits on Round Lake in Charlevoix with a beautiful view of the yacht basin and historic downtown area. Each story of the home is devoted to a theme, such as family, grandkids, and wellness. The different stories boast standout features from an in-home fitness center complete with his and her locker rooms to a movie theater and a grandkids' getaway with murphy beds. The kids' library highlights an upper dome with a hand-painted welcome to the home's visitors.
Throughout Camp Wobegon, the custom finishes are apparent. The entire home features radius drywall, eliminating any harsh corners. Masons carefully crafted two fireplaces for an authentic touch. In the great room, there are hand constructed dark walnut beams that intrigue and awe anyone who enters the space. Birchwood artisans and select Allenboss carpenters built and assembled the grand beams in the home.
Perhaps the most unique room in the home is the exceptional dark walnut study. It exudes craftsmanship through the intricate woodwork. The floor, cabinetry, and ceiling were crafted with care by Birchwood carpenters. When you enter the study, you can smell the rich walnut. The room is a nod to the homeowner's father, who was a carpenter himself.
The custom details don't stop on the interior. As you walk through 26-foot NanoLock doors, you're greeted by an endless pool and a showstopping view of Round Lake. Moving to the front of the home, it's easy to admire the two copper domes that sit atop the roof. Yellow cedar siding and painted cedar railing complement the eye-catching domes.

A stone and shingle facade and graceful lines highlight this expansive single-level home Craftsman home plan. Custom details can be found throughout the plan with elegant ceiling treatments in many rooms and built-in cabinetry flanking the great room fireplace. The chef's kitchen opens to the large dining area and to the great room, providing a focal point for family life and entertaining. One wing houses secondary bedrooms and utility space, helping to keep clutter out the formal living areas. The bedrooms each have a tray ceiling and their own walk-in closet. Just off the garage lies a utility room with ample workspace, a large pantry, and convenient e-space. The oversized bonus room provides flexibility and access to plenty of attic storage. The opposite wing of the home plan is devoted to a roomy master suite with an attached sitting area to the rear. The suite accesses the rear porch and includes two large walk-in closets. The highlight of the stunning master bath is the unique barrel-vaulted ceiling over the garden tub. Dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and private privy complete the suite.

Fully Stocked Home Bar houses adult cocktails, complete with wine frig and a separate refrigerator devoted to
kid-approved beverages. A stainless swirl laminate, accentuates the custom built bar panels.

The southwestern shore of Sinquefield Lake is devoted to recreation and relaxation. In this photo the Dock House is glimpsed through a stand of oak trees that were preserved. Rich understory planting borders the path.

For one devoted Seahawks fan, game day isn’t just about the kickoff; it’s about the entire experience. Living nearly 50 miles outside of the city made getting to Lumen Field a full-day commitment, so when the opportunity came to purchase a downtown penthouse in Belltown, the vision was clear: create the ultimate home base for entertaining, relaxing, and pre-gaming before every home game.
Better Builders was brought in to transform the entire penthouse, reworking the entryway, kitchen, four bathrooms, and laundry room into a sleek, contemporary space with Seattle sports at its core. From the moment you step inside, the design sets the stage with bold lighting, high-end finishes, and a layout built for gathering. The kitchen was crafted with seamless entertaining in mind, while each bathroom was elevated with clean lines and modern touches.
But the centerpiece is the living space. Designed around the ultimate TV and lighting setup, the room delivers an immersive viewing experience where every Seahawks play feels larger than life. It’s more than a remodel; it’s a celebration of Seattle spirit, bringing friends together for good food, big games, and unforgettable nights in the heart of the city.

As you walk in, the main floor unfolds into a seamless living experience. Walls and columns were expertly removed to reveal a voluminous, open-concept great room. Natural light filters through generous windows, illuminating layers of sophisticated textures and warm neutral tones. The thoughtfully integrated millwork subtly divides the space without disrupting flow, while elegant sconces above the breakfast nook infuse intimacy—creating a serene yet inviting atmosphere.
At the heart of the home sits a striking, oversized kitchen arrangement featuring dual islands: one devoted to food prep, the other to gathering and conversation. The islands are finished in complementary palettes—one light, one dark—mirroring the balance of materials and colors across the open floor plan. This innovative layout fosters community and showcases design depth through thoughtful texture layering, from stone countertops to artisanal hardware.
Swatch’s signature layering approach brings dimension and warmth throughout these interconnected rooms. Subtle pops of earthy hues alongside jewel-tone accents are woven through upholstery, decorative lighting, and artwork. Organic elements like wood flooring and natural stone surfaces reinforce the Modern European aesthetic: clean lines with a lived-in elegance, where each material choice feels intentional and inviting .
Styled to feel luxurious yet approachable, the space features a discussed blend of classic European elegance and contemporary comfort. Plush fabrics—such as velvet cushions and soft linens—contrast simple, modern furniture silhouettes. Freestanding lantern-style pendants and delicate sconces enhance ambiance throughout, while curated décor from different European influences tells a rich, nuanced design story.
