We had an exceptional experience working with Costa Bella Builders on our new home in Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz. From start to finish, the entire team was reliable, on time, and within budget—something truly rare in construction. The management team, Jeff, Vitt and Justin, were fantastic partners throughout the process. Their architect, Valerie took all of our ideas and turned them into a design that exceeded our expectations, creating the dream home we hoped for. They guided us through key decisions, from fixtures to finishes, and connected us with excellent local suppliers like Mission Tiles in Soquel. They utilized Oxford Cabinets, who created an amazing custom kitchen and dry bar for us that perfectly complements our open-plan dining, kitchen, and living area. Their craftsmanship truly elevated the space. We couldn’t be happier with the final result and highly recommend this team to anyone considering a custom home.

Costa Bella did a full remodel for us: all floors, windows, kitchen and bathroom. New fireplace, doors, lighting and electrical. We are very pleased with their work. They were consistently on time and on budget completing the whole project in 4 months. I highly recommend them. Jeff, Vittorio, Kate and crew. Our 1970's Aptos house was dated and we wanted to remodel (and add an en suite master bathroom). Like most people, we have champagne taste and a beer budget. We met with several contractors, and chose Costa Bella Builders. Six months later, our "tear it down to the studs" remodel is done, and we moved back in a few weeks ago. Amazingly, the job was completed on time and on budget. Vitt had lots of great ideas which saved us money, and make everything look and work better. Top quality customer service made us feel that we were their only client. We had been worried about doing a major remodel (since friends warned us that it would be a Money Pit), but our experience was the exact opposite. Our "new" home is just what we wanted. I only wish we had done the remodel years ago, so we could have enjoyed the "new" home for more years. Here's a big "thank you" to Vitt, Jeff, Luisa, Jose and the rest of the Costa Bella team.

Vitorio and Costa Bella Builders constructed additional living space on our home in La Selva Beach. We could not be happier with the design, craftsmanship and timeliness of their work. Just beautiful and so professional!

All I can say is they are amazing.!Very responsive, great ideas, on time, they are the complete builders / remodelers you are looking for. Our project was a complete townhouse remodel. Electrical, plumbing, framing, sheetrock, tile work, etc. Once our plans were complete, 4 months for the whole project. Vitt and the team do a great job and always gave us options to consider. They are a pleasure to work with. Can’t appreciate them enough!

I’m writing this review as I sit in my absolutely beautiful new kitchen which was remodeled by CBB. From our first meeting with Jeff, we knew CBB was the right contractor to hire! Working with Vitt and Jason on our home remodel was a wonderful experience. During the design, they really listened to what we wanted, but gave accurate and appropriate suggestions when they thought something would look better a different way. Their subcontractors are polite, prompt, and professional – and they all did fantastic, detailed work. The app they use with the calendar made the process very clear. We appreciate their organization! Any change to the scope was discussed in detail and all of our (many) questions were answered promptly. CBB finished our project ahead of schedule so we could move in before our rental lease expired. We love the remodel CBB completed on our home. We cannot wait to hire them again for the rest of our home! Thank you, Jeff, Vitt, Jason, and the rest of the CBB team!

Amazing. From the very first meeting until the final details, Costa Bella did exactly what they said they would do and on time. Almost without exception, they stuck to a shared calendar that orchestrated our project. My CBB foreman for the project, Justin, managed the project carefully and was a pleasure to work with. Owners Jeff and Vitt offered valuable insight gained from their extensive building experience. And all of their subs were punctual, professional and a pleasure to watch in action. CBB is not a one man operation working out of a pick-up truck. They are a well-orchestrated team that makes the entire process . . . .fun? We have all heard horror stories about building projects gone awry: Twice as long, twice as expensive. Not CBB. They stayed on schedule and on budget, finishing on the exact day that was projected 4.5 months earlier. My only regret is that I don't have another project to hand to them. It was that good.

Costa Bella Delivered on the quality, timing, and costing of our project. their App allowed us to track work, pictures, costs and invoices for everything. Complete transparency. My wife and I very much enjoyed the experience. CCB even came in under budget, which we were excited about. Its a beautiful outcome. We love it.

You both made this project so easy, trust me that I am known to not give up control of much, you went beyond my expections. I so appreciate everything you have done, especiall how calm you both are and it allowed me to sleep knowing you had it under control. I also appreciated the app which is the best and really makes everything visable. You were not only on time but also on budget and those two words are not something you hear very often when it involves a remodel. I would be more than willing to give you 5 stars and tell anyone you are the best. Vit, I know Justin is fairly new but I can't say enough about is ability and calmness even when I am not calm. You are luckly to have him. The gift baskets were lovely, be sure and let everyone know they were appreciated and very thoughtful. It has only been a little over 24 hours and I have not really had time to appreciate all of the fabulous remodel...yet. This moving is freaking hard and not doing it again until I have to go to a home, hope that allows me to enjoy the beauty for at least 15 or more years, guess we will see. I know we have a few things to finish up but just had a minute and want you to know you are appreciated beyond words.

This home is stunning! Granted, that's a massive project yet the attention to detail - on all levels -- was incredible. Great job.

We had CBB gut and rebuild two bathrooms and a kitchen in our second-home condo in Aptos. This was our first time working with a contractor for full room remodels. We chose CBB from among four companies, and the reason we chose CBB was that first, they are very connected with local businesses which gives them a real competitive advantage, and second, they have a great portfolio of very high-end work they've completed in the area. This puts CBB in another class, yet their estimated costs were totally in line with other more run-of-the-mill outfits. Even still we felt we got more for the money, because at the same cost others were offering semi-custom or pre-fab cabinets, CBB was working with a great supplier in Watsonville who provided fully custom cabinets (and who seems to prioritize CBB as a partner as well). Vit was great to work with and he has a good relationship with local materials and fixtures suppliers. He made great suggestions on how to maximize the utility from our material budget, as well as "see things" we didn't, such as enlarging a room and moving a door a few inches in order to make more elbow room in a new shower. He made it easy to find time to get together and meet to discuss various aspects of the project when necessary and hooked us up with great people at the local plumbing fixture and tile providers. What really amazed us was that, during a time of supply shortages, CBB was able to put together a plan that seemed aggressive to us but nonetheless was completed on time and within budget. We kept saying to ourselves, "is this really going to be done by mid October?" and the answer ended up being "Yup!" Admittedly as with all projects like this, not everything went according to plan and a few loose ends needed to be tidied up after the project was done. An example: we had an issue with the lighting in one bathroom that was totally our fault (well actually it was Wayfair's fault for advertising the fixture as dimmable), and CBB made themselves available for the replacement and came out several times to try out different dimmers, and this was well over a month post completion, which tells me they will remain engaged until they are certain you are satisfied and will not leave you hanging (even if they are not at fault). Another example: we had a chandelier in a box that they offered to install for free even though it wasn't part of our plan. All along the way I felt that everyone I worked with was eager to please, took their work seriously and with pride, and kept communication lines wide open, straightforward and honest about every aspect of the project from the initial estimate to our options when something unexpected comes up.

Costa Bella Builders are the real deal. Vittorio, Jeff, and their team of professionals completed our project and transformed our house to brand new on time and under budget! Vittorio is a super talented contractor with a great eye for space and detail. At the start, when we found out our plans were too big for our budget, he helped us re-imagine the living area, resulting in a beautiful and comfortable design. Vittorio is extremely organized and manages his team well- our project calendar in the Costa Bella online portal was always up to date, and the subs moved through the job on schedule. Vittorio was easy to work with and wonderful with difficult personalities and situations. Whenever we encountered challenges with trades, vendors, or deliveries, Vittorio’s diplomacy won the day. I did not feel stressed during the project because I knew he would listen to any concerns we had and find a solution. When our flooring delivery was canceled due to shipping delays, Vittorio found wood flooring that we ended up liking better- at the same price-point as the original. He helped us find and choose quality materials and provided guidance on where to splurge and where to save. One thing that impressed me over and over about Vittorio is how low-key and pleasant he remains - no matter what. It is so nice to do business with someone who is not only good at what he does and a good communicator, but at the end of the day a good person as well. I am very happy with the renovation performed by Vittorio and his team. I absolutely recommend them for any major remodel or new build work - they have the expertise and the people skills to see it through.

We used Costa Bella Builders for a kitchen, laundry room and family room remodel, and they were exceptionally good! The entire process was very easy -- they had good suggestions and were very conscious of sticking to the budget. They only work with the best subcontractors. They completed the project ahead of schedule. The communication throughout the project was very good. The entire team at Costa Bella is very professional. I decided to use them for my remodel after reading other reviews on Houzz, and I now highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor!

We can't thank the Costa Bella team enough for the wonderful job they did for us, they made the process pretty easy. We had a rather large Kitchen/Great Room/Pantry that needed a complete gut and update and these guys were up for the challenge. Along the way there were some smaller updates we added to refresh the common areas of the home so they wouldn't seem outdated compared to the new Kitchen and WOW, everything tied in nicely and it makes our whole house look new! I always hear how remodels can break a marriage but thanks to Costa Bella and my husbands trusting in my decisions it was pretty painless! (*** and all during a pandemic!!)

We just completed a kitchen and bath remodel and wanted to give big kudos to Costa Bella Builders for a great job. Everyone there (Jeff, Vitt, Todd, Raul) was helpful and professional. All of the subs they brought in were also professional and the work was well done. Communication was great and they completed everything on time. I can't say enough great things about our experience working with Vitt, Jeff and the Costa Bella team. We started out planning a kitchen remodel that quickly expanded to the rest of the lower level as we wanted a more usable layout. From our first meeting, it was clear that they were a good fit for us after we had met with several other contractors. They got right to work, with an ambitious but realistic schedule that synced up with our planned vacation. Vitt was communicative every step of the way, was patient with my many questions and minor changes to the plan, was conscientious about cost as we explored our options, and went out of his way to make sure everything turned out just like we wanted it. In the end, we couldn't have been happier with the finished product. It was exactly as I had envisioned and designed it with exceptional care taken to every detail. They finished on schedule and were responsive for the few minor followup items that came up. We are excited to work with them on the many future projects we have in mind. I recommend Costa Bella wholeheartedly to anyone doing a new build or remodel and looking for high-quality, professional work.

Vit & Jeff just wrapped-up a major kitchen/living room remodel on our home & we could not be happier. We planned many months in advance & found them to be engaged, prompt & professional long before demolition even began. Once work was underway, they were the model of professionalism: prompt, courteous, precise, transparent; they engaged with me & my wife several times a day; we constantly had insights into budget, next steps & any questions. The whole process felt like a collaboration at every step. Costa Bella's crew was amazing - if you have to welcome a bunch of fresh faces into your home, this band of passionate professionals are the sort you want. I can’t say enough wonderful praise of the Costa Bella team!! We are exuberantly pleased still 3 years later. They remodeled our kitchen for us which I designed, I have a degree in interior design, but with the wonderful help of Vic our project manager, it came out so beautiful. Vic has an eye for detail and foresight that he uses to guide his clients. As the homeowner and project budgeter, we planned on compromising on a detail but he guided us through so that we did not regret it later. The guidance also did not increase our budget; just a simple reworking of the plan for long term satisfaction. (Balancing height of cabinets around window and using wood cabinet top instead of quartz to balance cost). We had worked with other contractors in the past who we were pleased with, but our experience with Costa Bella Builders far surpassed our expectations and we are still happily ecstatic 3 years later. We just completed our second remodel with Costa Bella Builders and couldn’t be happier. We remodeled our kitchen, put in all new wood flooring and converted our fireplace to a gas insert and refaced it floor to ceiling with stone veneer and a beautiful new mantle. Vitt and his crew did an excellent job remodeling my two bathrooms. I love the way the bathrooms turned out, and Vitt steered me in the right direction as far as the layout and tile choices. The subcontractors showed up on time, were professional in every way, and did excellent work. I can't say enough about how great this company is.

Jeff and Vitt from Costa Bella Builders were the best! They check all the boxes. Professional, check. Knowledgeable, check. Quality of work, check and meet deadlines and budgets, check and check. Actually finished project early! When does that ever happen for contractors. I cannot say enough great things about this team of contractors. In September of 2018, we decided to do an addition to our house, originally thinking we wanted to add a second story. When we talked to Costa Bella Builders, they considered our budget and project and presented another idea. We ended up staying on one level and broke ground on our new master bedroom and bath, office and laundry room in April 2019. It was finished August 2019, a month early. They stayed within our budget and our 1960's home is now insulated, updated and feels brand new with a smart design and plenty of storage even for our small space. They walked us through every phase from design to permits to build and completion. It could not have gone smoother.

You won't find a better general contractor out there! I bought a dated and dark 1,500 square foot office building in Capitola. They transformed it into a light and welcoming professional office for me. Vitt is not only an incredibly good contractor, he has a talent for design. He helped me pick out doors, lights, and flooring. Everyone at Costa Bella was a pleasure to work with. Costa Bella made the experience exceed my wildest expectations.

After interviewing 4 different contractors, we chose Jeff Thranow of Costa Bella Builders for a gut reno of a 3000-square-foot house. They put on a new roof; coordinated mold/asbestos remediation; moved a ton of interior walls to connect the living room/kitchen and create an office; re-did the entire kitchen; moved a bathroom and remodeled 2 more; updated the plumbing and HVAC; took out 2 hideous fireplaces and added a gas insert; installed engineered flooring on the first floor; added an AWESOME Harry Potter closet under the stairs... and right when they thought they were almost finished, we asked them to rip off all the miles of deteriorating cedar shakes and replace them with Hardie siding, and add a big second story deck. :D Jeff and his son-in-law Vitt, who was in charge of the job once it started, were fantastic to work with, as were their subs. They listened to our opinions and concerns, gave excellent feedback and advice, and helped move us along in the decision-making process when we were stalling. Since we live an hour away from the house, prompt and clear communication was a must -- and both Jeff and Vitt were super responsive to all of our email, texts, and phone calls, and cheerfully worked with our challenging schedules. They also were careful to minimize the impact on our neighbors as much as possible, especially in terms of a inconvenient parking situation, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, their work was on time, on budget (most of the few overages that occurred were because of choices we made; their bids and change orders were accurate and well-explained), and very very high quality. There was only one glitch with Title 9, and they fixed it immediately. We are absolutely thrilled with this house -- the transformation is unbelievable. This is supposedly our beach house, but it's so fabulous that everyone in the family wants to move to Aptos. We highly recommend Jeff, Vitt, and the whole team at Costa Bella. It was a pleasure working with them.

Costa Bella just competed our second remodel in Depot Hill. It is unusual to complete a remodel and still be on speaking terms with your contractor. In fact, the first experience was so positive, we used them a second time. Excellent communication during the entire process. Finished on time and on budget. They also provided very solid design tips for both looks and functionality, as well as cost. Their subs are clean and focused. The finished product has us smiling and smiling. They will provide a great “full build” or remodel experience for anyone considering a serious change to the living environment.

We worked with Costa Bella Builders to remodel two bathrooms. From the first meeting they were wonderful! Jeff, Vitt, the Costa Bella team, and all the subcontractors were fantastic. Jeff worked with us on getting the costs within our budget. Jeff was with us every step of the way, helping us make the best decisions on tile, fixtures, vanities, lighting and paint colors. Vitt made sure all the workers arrived as scheduled and that the work was done to the highest standards. All of the workers that came to our home were so professional and made sure the areas were spotless every day. They accommodated us on every aspect of the remodel, adapting to changes we made effortlessly. They were particularly careful of our newly installed hardwood floors in the pathway to the baths and did not leave a single scratch. The quality of the work done is top notch, I know we will have no problems with our new baths. I highly recommend Costa Bella. They were on time, on budget, and communicated with us every step of the way. Our bathrooms are perfect, just as we had envisioned.

Jeff and Vitt and their sub-contractors make an amazing team. On time, on budget, professional, friendly, insightful and respond to questions via text/email better than I could have ever imagined. Jeff accompanied us to our initial meetings with tile selection, plumbing selection and cabinetry. Gave great perspective, kept us on budget and translated our vision to the specialists for a smooth transition. Vitt would respond to all and any of our questions/ concerns promptly, did an amazing job making us feel confident in our massive project (as well as his work) and was incredibly efficient. He was knowledgeable, had great suggestions, and blew me away numerous times on how well he knew every tiny detail about any aspect of our project- and we were essentially building a home from the bottom up. We thought that their timeline was too good to be true. Vitt got the job done in under 6 months when others quoted us as taking 9-12. Costa Bella's ability to coordinate and get subs is mind boggling. On one single day, they coordinated 35 people working different tasks on our project. The number of people/teams Vitt coordinated to work on our house was truly an art.

Where do I even begin to express my appreciation for Costa Bella Builders? We were in a unique situation of needing a home addition very quickly, as we found out we were going to have twins and really needed to add more room to our small house before they were born. Through a neighbor, we were connected to the team at CBB and from the beginning, we sensed a great connection with them. Our two big needs from a contractor: stick their deadlines and communicate well with us, as we already had a toddler and very busy lives and we were in crazy season trying to prepare ourselves to add two more little lives to the family. After talking with CBB and four other contractors, CBB was the only team that was confident they could complete our project on time. It seem too good to be true that the first people we talked to were the ones we ended up going with, but looking back, it was the best decision we could’ve made. From the beginning, Vit and Jeff were amazing to work with, helping us to figure out the best layout for our addition, while working alongside of the architect and designer that we wanted to use. They were a great combination of being able to dream about possibilities while also sticking to our limited budget. Every meeting we had with them felt wonderful; we felt listened to, supported, and excited about what was ahead. Then in the midst of getting our permits and preparing for construction, I ended up in the hospital with preterm labor at 27 weeks with our twins. We were set to begin construction two weeks after I ended up in the hospital, and with a lesser crew, we would’ve never gone forward with the remodel. But because we trusted CBB so much, we ended up deciding to continue on with the remodel throughout the craziness of being in the hospital (which ended up being an eight week stay) and possibly having our babies very early. That’s how much we trusted them to do well and to follow through on what we had planned. We honestly can’t believe the blessing this team was for us during that time, as they worked so hard and diligently on our project, allowing some of our family members to do on site checks with them while we were at the hospital, and being flexible with us throughout all the chaos of that time period. Once construction began, each week they hit their deadlines, communicated any issues that came up and were flexible with changes and the inevitable issues that come up during projects like this. They also do very good work: their subcontractors are excellent, the construction they do is quality and the outcome of our remodel is absolutely beautiful. Our Interior designer sister-in-law and architect brother-in-law helped us with this project and when it was all over, they said it was an absolute delight to work with Vit and the team; they said it’s very rare to find a team as talented and communicative as CBB. We honestly just couldn’t believe the blessing we had with CBB- that they would listen to us, communicate well and have our best in mind throughout the project meant the world. I have told so many people this and I mean it, we absolutely loved our contractors and I thank God for them on a regular basis. I don’t think many people could say the same thing about their experience with contractors, as most people end up frustrated and feeling not listened to, or somehow even manipulated. We never felt this; we only have gratitude for them, and each day that we live in our newly remodeled home, we are thankful for all the work they did for us and the way they treated us. Cannot recommend them enough!

I can truly say that he is probably one of the most helpful and knowledgable people I have ever encountered in my life. Jeff T. took his time to explain everything to me. We worked with Jeff and Vitt for many months trying to put together a remodel of a very old home on the ridge in Aptos. Actually, it became a financial impossibility due to the slope stabilization. Nonetheless, they did the very best job for us and it was a joy to work with them. Their ideas were inspired and they were fearless cheerleaders as well as experts in the field. We would work with them again whenever the opportunity arises.

Jeff and his team did a wonderful remodel to the entryway to my house. They removed two walls, expanded the area into the garage and added a hall closet while simultaneously moving the existing laundry room into the reclaimed garage space. They also redid the existing fireplace and added wood flooring to the family room and stairs. The project was completed on schedule and with no major hiccups. The team encountered structural issues (no surprise considering the previous remodels of the 50 year old house) that had to be overcome and Vitt was able to bring in the extra crew to assess the issue and solve the issues while complying with the city inspectors. This is my second remodel and I can say Costa Bella is definitely a top notch organization. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Costa Bella Builders recently completed our kitchen remodel. The level of communication with the project manager Vitt Castelli was exceptional throughout the project, he was readily available to answer questions and help guide us along. We didn't have a designer and relied on his opinion throughout. His knowledge, experience, and eye for design became a very valuable resource for us. We always knew when to expect things to happen and the project was done very quickly and on schedule. Their selection of subs was also top notch, namely Schmitz Woodworks. The cabinets that Dave Schmitz built and installed are amazing. The entire crew and subs were very friendly and professional. Our kitchen sits in the middle of an open floor plan and they took great care to not damage the rest of the house. In the end, the left our house clean and more beautiful than before. All told, it was a pleasure working with them. We highly recommend Costa Bella Builders and wouldn't think twice about using anyone else.

We recently completed a full kitchen remodel, and we could not have been happier with Costa Bella Builders and our Project Manager, Vittorio Castelli. The project was on budget, on schedule (very fast!), very clean, and all of the crew and subs were trustworthy, talented and friendly. Our house is 24 years old, we are the original owners, and this was our first major remodel in the home. We had used Schmitz Woodworks previously for built-in bookshelves and a built-in cabinet in our dining room so we wanted our kitchen cabinets to follow the same design. Dave Schmitz drew up the design for the kitchen, basically keeping the same footprint (We highly recommend Schmitz Woodworks for custom cabinets.) The kitchen was gutted except for the hardwood floors. We did not have a designer. We relied heavily on Houzz and Pinterest, and Vitt accompanied us to the Appliance, Plumbing, Countertop, and Tile stores which was super helpful and reassuring. We actually went away two times during the remodel thanks to Vitt’s encouragement and we are so glad we did! There were absolutely no problems and no trust issues and it sure made the time fly faster. Highly recommend it! Vitt has a great personality, excellent eye for design, is calm, very well organized, and responds so quickly to texts. We really appreciated his level of communication as to what and when to expect things to happen. My husband was very worried that there would be damage to the rest of the house during the construction and we were very happy with the way the crew covered the floors and shelves and at the end of construction, the clean up crew did a great job. From demolition to first meal prep in new kitchen was less than 5 weeks! We are so happy and highly highly recommend Costa Bella Builders. Thank you so much!!!

As a custom hardwood floor company we have had the privilege of working with many talented and successful General Contractors. We recently completed a remodel on our home in the Pleasure Point neighborhood that had the scope of a new home, with the challenges of a remodel. I cannot say enough positive things about the process of working with Jeff, Vitt their employees and subcontractors. We had done a remodel on our home previously and the challenges of that process had left us a bit unsure of taking on this task again. From our very first meeting with Jeff he put our concerns at ease, and even provided a referral to an architect to help us really design a home that worked for our family. A project of this scope is bound to have some challenges but throughout the entire project I knew that Costa Bella and I were on the same side and that we had the exact same goal in mind to build the house that we had planned from design forward. Vitt was in constant contact with me as the project moved forward and worked tirelessly to meet a firm date when we needed to be back in our home. We have been back in our home for about 4 months now, and Vitt and Jeff have been on top of any and all of the few small things that needed to be addressed as we settled in. I would have zero reservations on recommending Costa Bella for any project.

We have used Costa Bella for complete remodels of our kitchen and master bath. From start to finish to after-job follow-up, they were consummate professionals. Design advice was spot-on and workmanship of highest quality. Their resources in the community gave us access to great materials and design options. Jeff and Vitt made themselves available throughout the job for questions and concerns, no matter how small. Recently, we called for a small siding repair job, and we were reminded again of the quality and promptness of their work. The phrase "exceeds expectations" gets thrown around a lot, but these guys made me understand what it means. And they're really nice!

I don't normally write reviews, but its been several months since our kitchen remodel and I wanted to thank Costa Bella builders for helping us build our dream kitchen. Jeff and Vit were a pleasure to work with and I found them to be very easy to communicate with and get a hold of. They have a great crew that they work with, some that have been with them for 15+ years which speaks volumes to me about how they treat their workers. Everyone was respectful, knew how to do their job, and cleaned up at the end of the day. The project was done under the time I was expecting! A pleasant surprise for sure! Jeff and Vit were fantastic. Very professional and did great work. I have a condo (about 900 sq ft), loft style, and they expanded the top floor out. It looks as if it was always this way. Perfectly matched the style, lines, and flooring. I couldn't be happier with the result. Plus the extra 100 square feet is great to have. I was home for much of the construction and got to meet his staff. They were all very professional and great at their craft. I highly recommend this company and their work and would use them again. If you are looking for a rock bottom price and don’t mind the hassles and delays that usually go along with that, don’t call these guys. However, if you are looking for quality, professional service and results and are willing to pay a fair price for them, then this is the outfit for you. I have used them three times now, for a kitchen remodel, bath remodel, and cabinets. You will get a project schedule telling you what will happen each week, and they will stick to it. The guys show up on time and clean their workspace before they leave. Vitt has a firm grip on all the details and if he says he will do something, it will be done right away. I’ve had some bad experiences with contractors in the past and always felt like I had to be watching closely to be sure things are done right and the accounting is fair. After my first experience with Costa Bella, I know I can sign the contract and then relax and let them to do their jobs, knowing I will be happy with the result.

I can not think of enough superlatives to describe my experiences with Costa Bella Builders. We hired this company to take a raw piece of land and build our dream house. Vitt, the project manager is a delight to work with. I never had a text or message go unanswered. All were addressed the same day (often within the same hour) when I had a concern or question. We were "promised" a 10 month timeline for completion of a large project (well, septic, road, driveway etc.). Almost to the day, we moved into our beautiful house. In a day when projects are often delayed and over budget, we did not experience that common problem. We will be building a guest house in the near future and I look forward to working with them again.

On time. On budget. Great crew. They did a complete demo and rebuild of the entire interior of our house. Jeff and Vitt were extremely helpful advising us on the finish process. Their entire team does great work. They were great working with us on ideas and changes that had to be dealt as the project progressed. I would highly recommend Costa Bella for any project.

Costa Bella just finished a kitchen remodel for us in late June, 2015. Everybody you talk to about doing a remodel and dealing with contractors says the same thing right? It's going to cost more and take longer than you were told. Well my experience with Costa Bella was pleasantly none of that. They were 99% done to the day they estimated it would take and it cost what the bid was. There were some extra costs that were all my choice, reasonable and I'm glad we tacked on the extra requests that were wise to do while the kitchen was open and exposed. And they finished the other tiny detail 1% (that always remains) with no fuss and in timely fashion. They did not just collect the last check and disappear. In fact, Vitt was just here this morning to adjust some cabinet doors that had shifted slightly and were misaligned. Jeff (the owner) spent an amazing amount of time with us just giving us tips and getting a true idea of what we wanted in the process of just gathering info to quote us a bid. He actually came back and spent more time with us just to make sure he heard us right. Then he came and spent another chunk of time explaining in detail the bid. We felt we were in very sure hands before we even selected them as our contractor. He and Vitt have a great eye for detail and design also and made helpful suggestions. Every sub they used was top rate, their in-house crew were personable and wonderful. We were kept abreast of progress and schedules. Jeff and Vitt were always available via email, text and phone. They were great at hand holding when we needed it (it was our first experience with a large remodel). Everyone that has seen our kitchen so far have been blown away by how fantastic it looks and what a nice job the contractor did. This includes some friends in the construction business. When I asked our kitchen designer to suggest 3 contractors, top tier, middle grade and economy model, she said Costa Bella was one of the best if not the best but of course they would cost more. To our very pleasant surprise, they were able to give a very competitive bid and for the level of service and quality they gave us, I think they were a fantastic bargain. We wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend them, in fact we already have.

This is now our third large project with CB since we used them first in 2012. Kitchen, large deck and outdoor entertainment structure and master bath. Each time the project planning, actual work and follow up was terrific. The people employed by CB make the difference. Never, not once, have we had an employee of CB or a sub on our jobs that wasn't capable and pleasant. When you have them in your home for 6-8 weeks, you want people that you can trust and people that are a pleasure to have around. Vitt makes sure you are informed, prepared for the various phases of work and satisfied. The work quality and results are consistently excellent and the creativity they apply on their clients behalf provides excellent value for the money invested. I echo all the positive reviews on this site. I was introduced to Jeff Thranow through my insurance company back in the 1980s when a hot water leak damaged my downstairs ceiling. Jeff responded quickly and did a great job making everything look as if nothing had ever happened. Since then, my homeowners’ association (on my recommendation) has used him and Costa Bella Builders for numerous projects, including deck design and replacements, hand rail replacements, replaced siding, and various other projects. He has worked in my townhouse most recently through two important projects, the complete remodeling of my kitchen (in 2012) and my master bathroom (October 2014). The Costa Bella construction and design process works like a well-oiled wheel. It begins with strong design and idea consultation, detailed and accurate cost estimates, timely construction (on time!), and very high quality workmanship. A project begins with Jeff who offers you his expertise and experience in terms of design, materials, and details of the project. My favorite part of a Costa Bella project is shopping with Jeff. He steers me toward the highest quality materials within my price range and does not tempt me with options that are out of my range. Once the project timeline is set, Vitt and the crew take over. Communication is constant and you are consulted on every decision and kept informed of the timing of each stage of the project. The entire team seemed to really care whether or not we got what we wanted.
