CLOSE-UP VIEW This master bath makeover starts with bare walls that have been floated out smooth over the sheetrock. Then we hand applied a beautiful custom tinted, soft grey Venetian plaster. After two coats of plaster, the walls were waxed and buffed. This process seals the plaster, leaving a long-lasting finish. The finished product is subtle and undeniably beautiful! I’ve included a close-up view of the finish below.

Cashmere Interiors. We designed this drapery treatment with a "foldover" top using the coordinating poppy colored fabric that we placed on the bottom of the panel as well. A tri-colored trim pulls all the colors together. Using individual holders allowed us to keep a clean look while placing them exactly where we wanted- just to frame the windows .

To create some height in the otherwise flat garden, native Redbud trees were planted at the center of each square, and small step-stones were laid for easier access to care for the plantings within the boxwood-hedged flower beds. The pattern of the step-stones helped to reinforce the idea of quilted patches stitched into old-fashioned quilts.
