The expansive common spaces include a 15' long dining table, open kitchen and living room with multiple seating areas. One of our favorite components of this project was the lighting, especially the custom neon chandelier we partnered and designed with a local neon artist. This dining room in Ladue was transformed from boring to fabulous. Starting with the faux finish on the ceiling and the double chandeliers over the table these elements give the room an expansive feel. The faux finish walls soften the lines of the room. The draperies are show stoppers . Embellished with cording and crystals.the pennants end with a fluer dis las tassel at the point of the velvet shaped accent rim. Causal dining at its European best!

The roof above the dining room and stair was raised to make the spaces more spacious and to connect them vertically to living spaces above. The new window wall floods the lower and upper levels with controlled (via a deep roof overhang) natural light.
