Young boys room who loves color and wanted a created space to peak his imaginative side. We incorporated items like dinosaurs and trucks to make the space more customized to his taste.

This enviable property sits perched on the bluff directly across from the ocean in the La Selva Beach neighborhood of Aptos. Project goals included overall beautification via plants with year-round color and showy blooms, more privacy on the patio and deck, and a way to deter frequent dog-walkers from cutting through the garden. We accomplished this last goal by building up soil mounds behind retaining walls and using taller plants at the apex. Privacy for the deck was achieved by the addition of sleek stucco walls. Project features a large swath of a walkable, drought-tolerant grass alternative. Special care was devoted to selecting plants that can withstand the wind, fog and salt-spray that occur near the ocean. South African and Australian plants figure prominently into the plant palette and create a vibrant complimentary color scheme against the ocean backdrop. Who wouldn't want to spend time in this ocean-view garden?

This bold, art-filled home in Prior Lake balances playful energy with thoughtful design. Its saltbox-inspired gable leads to interiors that move from moody to vibrant, layered with art, pattern, and color. Every detail, from textured walls and sculptural lighting to curated objects, including a mounted dinosaur bone, creates rhythm and warmth, making each room its own composition. Designed as a retreat for the homeowner and her Great Dane, the house flows naturally between lively moments and quiet calm, celebrating individuality while staying cohesive.

Scott & Catherine Buley. High Tech Turf/Rain Garden Nursery. LandscapeMakeover.biz Catherine loves working with stone, boulders and even pebbles. Here she combined rustic stone and both Montana and Montana Mason rock to create a dry waterfall effect. Sedum, blue fescue clumps, fern, and camas add accents here. The bare soil on the left bottom corner is part of a creek-like effect that has been seeded to water loving wildflowers. The Royal Raindrops multi-trunk flowering crabapples lend an almost forested effect to the entire area.

Transform your space into an underwater get away with this coral sculpture. The sculpture is covered an ivory white finish with a bumpy texture all over and is mounted on an acrylic base. It is the perfect accessory to transform your home into the underwater adventure you’re looking for.

In this adorable little boy's room, we added all new windows, installed a beetle-kill pine ceiling, and found a lovely shade of grey-blue paint from Sherwin Williams called "Debonaire," which perfectly matches the beautiful blackout curtains from Crate & Barrel. Paired with the super fun bunk bed from Pottery Barn, it'll be tough to get the kids down for dinner!
