In this comprehensive makeover, the kitchen was entirely stripped down and cleared, setting the stage for a vibrant new beginning. They added a blend of elegance and practicality with Waypoint's Painted Linen for the perimeter and Painted Navy for the island, complemented by a striking Sollid Cognac Alder range hood. Cabinet hardware from Amerock's Blackrock collection in Champagne Bronze and various cabinet accessories were carefully chosen to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility. The kitchen's utility was further improved by installing a new garbage disposal and reworking ductwork and electrical systems to accommodate the new layout and appliances. My minimalist thinking client wanted nothing but a faucet on the sink back. The sink has a disposer, code requires an air gap, so where is everything? The building inspector approved the backflow preventer that is integrated into the Miele dishwasher as an acceptable alternative to an air gap. The switch for the disposer is an air switch that rides in the front of the top drawer under the sink. The top drawer was largely cut away to fit around the sink, but is has room for the switch and some sink accessories. It still has soft-close, full extension drawer guides. Studio Home removed and disposed of existing cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, existing soffit. Capped and moved dishwasher, disconnected sink and faucet, removed florescent lights, roughed in new recessed cans, and repair drywall. Studio Home provided and installed new Medallion Silverline cabinetry, Pental Quartz countertops, Amerock cabinet pulls. Studio Home hooked up the new sink, dishwasher, faucet, garbage disposal, installed the recessed cans trim and two under cabinet task lights. Studio Home then finished off the remodel by providing and installing the new 3x6 subway tile. Studio Home provided and installed Provenza engineered hardwood throughout the main floor and provided and installed Shaw Caress carpet on the stairs.

Our designers converted an old garbage disposal area into a functioning cabinet. Our installers took out the garbage disposal, built a bottom and order new doors. Fantastic transformation with two glide-outs!

Our team started this project last week in Richmond. We're supplying and installing 5'' colonial gutters including gutter guards. We're pre-painting all fascia boards and using a tongue and groove cedar knotted soffit. We're doing the painting for the soffit and fascia and removing and disposing of all the materials.

This kitchen was very 1980s and the homeowners were ready for a change. As amateur chefs, they had a lot of requests and appliances to accommodate but we were up for the challenge. Taking the kitchen back down to the studs, we began to open up their kitchen while providing them plenty of storage to conceal their bulk storage and many small appliances. Replacing their existing refrigerator with a panel-ready column refrigerator and freezer, helped keep the sleek look of the cabinets without being disrupted by appliances. The vacuum sealer drawer is an integrated part as well, hidden by the matching cabinet drawer front. Even the beverage cooler has a door that matches the cabinetry of the island. The stainless, professional-grade gas range stands out amongst the white cabinets and its brass touches match the cabinet hardware, faucet, pot-filler, and veining through the quartzite. The show-stopper of this kitchen is this amazing book-matched quartzite with its deep blues and brass veining and this incredible sink that was created out of it as well, to continue the continuity of this kitchen. The enormous island is covered with the same stone but with the dark wood, it provides a dramatic flair. The mercury glass pendants, do not distract but complete the look.
