This moody Industrial Farmhouse Kitchen is one of our all time favorite designs! Lucky for us this young family called upon our skills yet again to dream & deliver a cohesive new look for the entire main level of their Moorestown, New Jersey home. We knew Tracy & Tim really loved the end result of their mancave basement, with its painted black ceiling, and industrial vibe. The kitchen, however, needed to be a bit lighter so it would connect to the rest of their home. Solutions: bigger windows, dark gray & distressed walnut cabinets, a burnished copper hood, mesh textures (both in the bar and the stools), lighter quartz counters, and a backsplash that looks like whitewashed brick. We even infused some extra style and function by having a custom bay storage bench created for their empty bay window.

This was a complete interior renovation project of a client’s second home. DEANE collaborated with the client on the design of 5 bathrooms and all the built-ins in addition to the kitchen. The home had an open floor plan with wide pine, bleached flooring throughout but was a challenge because of the various ceiling heights and support beams that needed to be accommodated. The homeowner wanted to able to casually host large gatherings without worrying about maintenance or upkeep. The kitchen cabinetry, featuring chamfer style doors, is painted a pale grey, with a darker, charcoal grey selected for the center island to accent the space. All appliances are stainless steel, with the dishwasher and trash/recycling drawers faced in the same material to mimic the dishwasher. The countertops are an engineered quartz in white, while the cooktop backsplash is a white ceramic tile in a soothing herringbone pattern.

Modern home design, Natural block exposed stair tower designed to act as a thermal chimney allowing hot air to escape through an electronically controlled skylight drawing cool air from below creating an internal breeze. Sidewalk entrance designed with 5" Mexican Black Beach Pebbles, leading towards the entry way is 16"x16" Ember Ash Slate.

DEANE inc has added a deluxe bar in this transitional kitchen that serves as more style inspiration with its tile backsplash, two toned custom cabinetry, and custom molding. Photography by Jane Beiles

Here is a look at one of DEANE Inc's custom designed bar areas. With custom cabinetry in navy blue, complimented by the custom tiled flooring with navy blue accents, this bar area is tied together perfectly and sophisticatedly.
