This townhouse had an unusual bathroom configuration. The master bath and guest bath shared one toilet. As part of this whole townhouse remodel, we installed a new toilet for the guest bath. This allowed the master bathroom to have more private space. The new shower has a seat, shower wand, and diverter valve. Shower tile runs to the ceiling.

With many projects, we are required to incorporate stormwater management. In this case, we elected to divert the leaders from the house roof to this infiltration bed. While not necessarily shown here, it included a sediment trap, distribution box/inspection port, and overflow with popup emitter.

The shower fixtures here were customized with a 3 way diverter to allow the client to use either the tub spout, handheld, or rain head or a combo of the rain head and handheld! The built in shampoo niche with carrara marble accents serves as storage for soap and shampoo.

Removed the old built-in tub and installed a modern freestanding bathtub. Built a curbless shower with frameless glass, custom bench, and new shower system with diverter. Updated vanity countertop and faucets. Matched shower pan tile under the tub to preserve existing flooring.

After, Converted tub/shower to a shower with a seat, smooth ceiling, recess light/fan above shower, new shower valve, diverter valve, with hand-held shower, grab bars, two recesses for shower products. Crown molding & baseboards, new exhaust fan, HVAC register, and new door hardware.

Took about a year on-and-off, did all the work myself (part of a complete remodel in an unfinished space that included the bathroom, utilities room, office, living room, and washer/dryer room)

This Master bathroom retreat features a spa like experience with a bathtub that has micro jets, tsbuo massage jetts, jaccuzzi jets, chromatherapy, aroma therapy, a heater and it is self cleaning. It does it all! The wet area also includes a shower system with a digital diverter that allows you to select your temperature and which section of body sprays you'd like to use or turn them all on with the rain head shower, for the full experiece. The feature tile is hand glazed and a variation of blues with a little sparkle. We used chrome accents in the plumbing selections, Schluter trim, and light fixtures to give the space a modern feel with clean lines. The vanity area has an LED medicine cabinet with lots of storage space and additional lighting on the interior part of the cabinet. The closet features tons of storage as well as two spectacular light fixtures.
