Spare bedroom double duty as a dressing room with DIY organizing. Bifold doors become a dressing/folding screen, chair rail displays heels, hanging boots and scarves, nail polish storage, DIY shelving and bifold closet doors to "French door" function.

After some time beach-combing and acquiring enough cool pieces of flat driftwood, I created this cool coastal-style driftwood headboard for a doting client's beach house.

Eclectic bedroom photo in Austin

Truth: we like camping more than living our “real lives,” so we decided to take a stab at achieving a campsite feel in the bedroom. Full moon, bonfire, sticks, camp blankets, triangular mirrors that subtly suggest mountain peaks… you get the idea. The sticks are from bigger hikes we’ve done in Olympic National Park and Glacier National Park. Image: James Stewart
