Craft rooms typically feature ample storage with organized bins, shelves, and drawers for materials, ensuring a clutter-free and efficient workspace.
A well-lit environment is crucial, often achieved with task lighting or natural light to enhance visibility during detailed work. Customized workstations, such as spacious tables and comfortable seating, provide the ideal setting for creative exploration.
Craft rooms are not just about functionality; they're a haven for self-expression, where individuals can let their imagination run wild and turn ideas into tangible works of art.

Owner Occupied Homes - DIY Home Owner Checklist - ReDesign
What to expect: During the consultation, there will be a thorough walk-through. The owner should be present for this appointment. A detailed list of recommendations will be made for each space in the home, as well as for the exterior. Photographs and measurements will be taken if needed. If time allows, simple changes might be made like moving small furniture, rearranging a mantle, and we will evaluate items that the homeowner has that can be used for staging. The home owner will be left with a detailed to-do list. If the home owner needs help tackling the checklist, House Candy Home Staging is available by the hour to assist.
After the initial Home Staging Consultation is complete, House Candy Home Staging is happy to take on many of the recommended tasks like design restyling, decluttering, rearranging, styling mantles/bookcases, shopping for bedding, accessories, etc.

By one definition, a garage is nothing more than “a shelter or repair shop for automotive vehicles.” However, for many of us our home garage doubles as a workshop or even an escape. Most commonly, though, the garage doubles as a storage space for random stuff. As the years tick by, garage organization can become a daunting task. Thankfully, we at Simpson Strong-Tie have put together this brief but handy guide on how to organize your garage and reclaim some valuable real estate. Learn more on our Building Strong blog!

This small powder room off the main hallway underwent a dramatic transformation, evolving from dated olive walls to a bright, airy space with a soft, sophisticated palette. The client wanted to take a hands-on approach to the project and tasked ReNu Studios with curating the materials, paint colors, and finishes.
We selected a soothing sky-blue wall color paired with a delicate floral wallpaper to add character without overwhelming the small footprint. Updated frosted glass light shades helped modernize the existing fixture without the need for a full replacement.
By balancing fresh tones, simple updates, and thoughtful details, the result is a crisp, inviting bathroom that feels effortless and complete, proving that even small spaces (and DIY projects) deserve great design direction.

We were hired to create a Lake Charlevoix retreat for our client’s to be used by their whole family throughout the year. We were tasked with creating an inviting cottage that would also have plenty of space for the family and their guests. The main level features open concept living and dining, gourmet kitchen, walk-in pantry, office/library, laundry, powder room and master suite. The walk-out lower level houses a recreation room, wet bar/kitchenette, guest suite, two guest bedrooms, large bathroom, beach entry area and large walk in closet for all their outdoor gear. Balconies and a beautiful stone patio allow the family to live and entertain seamlessly from inside to outside. Coffered ceilings, built in shelving and beautiful white moldings create a stunning interior. Our clients truly love their Northern Michigan home and enjoy every opportunity to come and relax or entertain in their striking space.
