In downtown Argenta, North Little Rock a new three story building was constructed to house Cregan's Irish pub on the first floor, corporate offices on the second floor and condo's on the third floor. John Rogers Design provided interior and lighting design services for a client who was open to new ideas. The owner moved from a spacious home in suburban west Little Rock. He wanted to scale down while having plenty of space to entertain and display his impressive art collection. He has working knowledge of architecture and had definite ideas on design. He also made time to get involved in the planning and design phases of the project. It was a wonderful collaboration made in design heaven. This space was a blank slate, only the perimeter demising walls that separated tenet space were in place. The owner wanted all his furnishings and accessories incorporated into the space plan. Our services were to space plan, design all millwork, select all interior finishes, lighting design and develop the interior architectural documents with an architect. My parents were using their attached garage as an artist studio and there were a couple of problems. The first was that the prevailing westerly winds were blowing dust into the space around the edges of the garage door which ended up covering all the surfaces and contaminating their paints. This second problem was that the wind infiltration made the space uncomfortable at both the height of summer and the cold of winter. Once we settled on a design I used Revit to create the documents necessary for permitting purposes.

This project was executed completely remotely. Customers have written a letter about their wishes and sent the plan of apartments. As the result reconstruction one-room apartment turned into two-room space with bedroom and cabinet. Part of kitchen equipment was situated comfortably in an niche between bedroom and kitchen, thanks to it there was cleared space for kitchen furniture. The cabinet area was located near the window. The owner of cabinet will be able to accommodate all the necessary work documents and folders in the system shelves framing the window opening.

A 2,133-square-foot interior commercial alteration converting a former indoor garden center into a community pantry and storage area for Zion Church in Lanham, Maryland. The project required a Prince George's County commercial interior permit, full multi-discipline construction documents (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical), and an architect's seal under Maryland law. Maincare prepared the complete ten-sheet drawing set in-house, coordinated review and seal with our Maryland-licensed partner architect, and acted as named applicant of record before Prince George's County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement. Prince George's County Permit P35342-2023-CI issued January 2024. The space preserves the existing exposed roof trusses as a design feature, pairs polished concrete flooring with commercial-grade refrigeration along the perimeter wall, and brings natural light from north-facing clerestory windows into a clean, functional pantry environment.

We had designed and fabricated this grand curved stair on UK Stair Regulations “Approved_Document_K”.The client had chosen a curved glass stair instead of a traditional wood stair to create modern, safe, efficient, and different spaces. The stylish grand entrance curved staircase makes the house very impressive.

This sustainable project was completed on a private 80 acre view parcel in the hills above Corralitos, CA. The owners were drawn to us through the Green Building link on our website and after an initial meeting, hired us to manage the preliminary feasibility studies, site work, design and eventual construction. With this type of project, we start at the beginning; making sure that development on the site is both possible and practical before we spend a lot of our client’s budget on plans that may not be suitable. After we determined that building on the property would be permitted by the Santa Cruz County Building and Planning Departments, we completed several feasibility steps that included: •A geologic review • Percolation test (for septic) • Water well probability analysis • Grading analysis • Biologic review • Site survey and topographic mapping • Earthquake zone and archeological clearances With these steps finished, we set up interviews with several local architects that we partner with to find the one that was most appealing to our client. The owners were integral to the process and agreed with our choice of Daniel Silvernail, Architect. He impressed the clients with his gracious nature and open attitude; welcoming feedback and the preferences they had throughout the design process. In addition to being very reasonably priced, Mr. Silvernail quickly gave his attention to the preliminary design plans. After client reviews and approval the full architectural and construction blueprints were finished. We had the complete ready-to-submit-for-permit documents in less than 10 weeks; this included structural engineering, energy calculations and Green Building ratings. We were all impressed by his professionalism throughout the design and building process.

Working closely with the builder, Madrone Construction, and the home owners, Patty Jones of Patty Jones Design, LLC selected and designed interior finishes for this custom home which features Sapele wood cabinetry, Hubbardton Forge Light Fixtures, modern cabinetry, and solid slab counter tops. Patty also selected exterior finishes – stain and paint colors, stone, roof color, etc. Patty was involved early through the initial planning working with the home architectural designer, Joey Shaw of Homeland Designs, LLC including preparing the presentation board and documentation for the Architectural Review Committee. All materials and products were sourced locally.
