Our clients purchased their home with no custom upgrades... this was the perfect blank canvas for our team to get started. Traditional elements and heavily carved moldings are some of the details found in the first floor. We chose cozy fabrics and furniture to accommodate this family of four. The master bed room suite has a bit of a transitional feel... the custom furniture pieces here are more clean and streamlined. We achieve added interest and texture with the use of different hardwood finishes. The master bedroom floor is a blonde hardwood with large hand knotted area rugs made from wool. An antique trunk at the foot of the bed works perfectly with the mirrored side chest and tall painted armoire. A modern update in the master bath included a glass enclosure shower with frosted sea glass tiles. Window treatments and accessories complete the rooms for that instant lived in feel. We love it!

We changed the entire master bathroom. There was a wall running straight down the middle between the tub and vanity making two rooms. the shower was in the opposite corner, where the water closet is now and the fixtures and finishes were pink! This new updated room is a knockout. DOuble vanities "his & hers", with a separate water closet, new roman tub and seamless glass shower surround really did this beautiful home justice. I would have liked to make the window larger and centered on the tub but it just wasn't in the budget.

Photo by Bruce Frame. An opulent master bathroom features both a large walk-in shower and a deep bathtub. The ceiling detail frames the drum chandelier and the crystals sparkle in the light. The wall sconces provide enough light on their own in the evenings so the clients can relax in a soothing bath with only a soft glow to illuminate them. Crystal knobs on the cabinets and drawers tie together the other crystal elements in this otherwise monochromatic bathroom. The other notable accent is the faux finish on the back wall that gives an ethereal quality to the bathroom.
