The glass bowl was made in the glass studio owned by the owner which is adjacent to the residence. The mirror is a repurposed window. The door is repurposed from a boarding house. George Mendel

Inside the three-bedroom, 2,400-square-foot showcase home, Old World rustic and modern European style blend with high craftsmanship to create a sense of timeless quality, stability, and tranquility. Behind the scenes, energy efficient technologies combine with low maintenance materials to create a home that is economical to maintain for years to come. The home's open floor plan offers a dining room/kitchen/great room combination with an easy flow for entertaining or family interaction. The interior features arched doorways, textured walls and distressed hickory floors.

This kitchen had dark brown oak cabinets with dated hardware. To Economically give the room and updated look, we painted the cabinets with SW 7663 Monorail Silver and the island with a slightly darker SW 7670 Gray Shingle . A ceiling box with Florescent lights was removed and replaced with recessed lighting. The pendant lights were added, along with quartz countertops and a stacked stone backsplash to complete the look.

Labeled, organized and decluttered linen closet, with over the door storage and good use of bins and drawers makes it much easier to keep toiletries and linens neat.
