Haefele Design

As a Contractor I found it a great pleasure to collaborate with Laurie and Caroline! Her visions are unique, her plans are precise, and easy to comprehend. With Laurie and Caroline's thorough communication I can bring their visions to life. There is a solution for any question that may come up. Overall it is a pleasure working with them on their projects and being a part of their incredible designs.

We loved working with Haefele Design. Laurie created a superb layout for our small kitchen, completely opened it up, and now it feels like we live in an entirely new house! We entertain and cook all of the time, and she thought through every detail. The design was seamlessly integrated into the original plans. She and her staff are straight-shooters, and always provided valuable feedback through the process when needed. This was the best decision to make in redoing the most important room in our home!

From our very first meeting, Laurie's been joy to work with. Her warm personality, professionalism, attention to detail and consistent followup communication have been quite impressive. We can't wait to work with her on our next project.

Laurie Haefele has designed two kitchens and three bathrooms for us, and every project has been absolutely first class. She is thoroughly knowledgable, supremely talented, and wonderfully efficient. She is easy as pie to work with. Also, she is very clear about costs - nothing is "hidden", and she will do as much or as little as I need. Her team is first rate. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Working with Laurie Haefele was one of the highlights of my difficult home remodel. Besides being professional and creative she was a delight to work with at all times. Her design for my kitchen was thoughtful and she was able to give me everything I dreamed of & on budget. After the installation she even spent a morning helping me organize all my cabinets! On more than one occasion I've brought in Laurie to assist my clients on overseeing kitchen designs. Laurie is a dream to work with. She's up to date on the latest trends in cabinets and appliance technology, highly professional, great at listening and communicating, respectful of budgets and tastes. One project was highly traditional with William Ohs cabinets, the other was a high-architectural design lay out, equally detailed in their designs. I highly recommend Laurie for not only kitchens, but bathrooms and wardrobes as well, as I've seen numerous examples of these areas in magazines. As an interior designer, I am in need of sub-contractors that can not only do a great job, but one that the clients also are very comfortable with.

Laurie and I first worked together 10 years ago, when she designed my first kitchen for a small vacation home I had just purchased. Laurie not only came up with a beautiful, timeless design, she was easy to work with. The architect from that project was so impressed with her that he hired her to do several jobs for his other clients. Several years, later when I was doing a complete remodel of my primary residence, the first person I reached put to was Laurie. In addition to designing and managing the fabrication and installation of my entire kitchen, she also designed custom cabinets for my bathrooms. The kitchen was stunning and was published in several periodicals. Laurie has an great sense of style, she knows kitchen design and has always been able to able to design a kitchen around my budget. I would highly recommend Laurie, in fact, I am so enamored with her work that she just completed a third kitchen for me and I am loving it!!!

Getting your kitchen just right, is no easy feat! I have worked with Laurie at Haefele design on two kitchens, one in a charming mountain home in Deer Valley, and one in our main residence in Rancho Santa Fe. Both were remodels, and both were entirely different in design, feel and scale. Our Deer Valley kitchen turned out to be a little jewel, that we enjoyed very much, and our new kitchen has not yet been completed, but working with Laurie made it all very easy, and gave me a lot of confidence, that she knew a lot more than I did! I ended up with beautiful and accurate drawings, with lots of special details, and some of the coolest appliances on the market, thanks to her expertise and knowledge. I highly recommend Haefele design for your kitchen needs! I'm sure she's great at anything she puts her mind to! She is a real professional!
