The Waterfall Foodscape is a lush, layered edible landscape designed around a naturalistic waterfall and the experience of moving through the garden. Rather than separating food production from ornamental planting, the design weaves edible perennials, fruiting plants, flowers, shrubs, and habitat-supporting species throughout the landscape. Stone, water, pathways, and planting work together to create a space that feels immersive, productive, and alive. The waterfall acts as a focal point and sensory anchor, bringing movement, sound, and a cooling presence into the garden. Around it, layered planting creates seasonal interest, supports pollinators and wildlife, and provides ongoing harvests. The result is a foodscape that balances beauty, biodiversity, and productivity while feeling natural and integrated with the surrounding landscape.
