Lyra Linear Suspension by Edge Lighting

Lyra linear suspension combines T5 fluorescent and MR16 halogen lamps for lighting applications in offices, hallways, retail, conference rooms, kitchens or contemporary dining. Available in 60 and 120 inch lengths. Features a white diffuser for the fluorescent lamps, and a soft diffusing lens and eggcrate louvers to prevent glare from the MR16s. Constructed of extruded aluminum alloy in satin aluminum, white or black finish. 58 inches of field adjustable mounting cable included. Clear electrical cable can be field wired for separate switching between fluorescent and halogen sources. MR16 lamp holders are adjustable on the vertical and horizontal axis. Low voltage dimmable electronic transformers for the halogen lamps and non-dimmable electronic ballasts for the fluorescent lamps included. 60 inch: Two T5-3500K high output fluorescent lamps provide diffused direct/indirect light, while three 50 watt MR16 halogen lamps provide directional light, lamps included. 120 inch: Four T5-3500K high output fluorescent lamps provide diffused direct/indirect light, while six 50 watt MR16 halogen lamps provide directional light, lamps included. No Room for Equipment

The room, architecture and decor did not lend itself to a place for electronic equipment. The homeowner did not want to see any black boxes within the room. So we mounted the equipment vertically behind the 75" Sony XBR TV with Flagship Triad Soundbar on a articulating arm TV mount able to be easily moved out for access and service. Subwoofer mounted in the ceiling shown upper right of TV and Triad side/rear channels not shown. All easily controlled by a Control 4 SR260 remote or Control 4 7" Touchpanel within the room. Problems solved again and again!

This project involved converting a partially finished basement into an ultimate media room with an English pub. The family is big on entertaining and enjoys watching movies and college football. It was important to combine the media area with the pub to create options for guests within the same space. Although the home has a full sized basement the staircase was centrally located, which made it difficult for special configuration. As a result, we were able to work with the existing plan be designing a media area large enough for a sectional sofa and additional seating with the English pub at the far end of the room. The home owner had a projection screen on a bare wall with the electrical components stacked on boxes. The new plan involved installing new cabinets to accommodate components and surround the screen to give it a built-in finish. Open shelving also allows the homeowner to feature some of their collectible sports memorabilia. As if the 130 inch projection screen wasn’t large enough, the surround sound system makes you feel like you are part of the action. It is as close to the I MAX viewing experience as you are going to get in a home. Sound-deadening insulation was installed in the ceiling and walls to prevent noise from penetrating the second floor. The design of the pub was inspired by the home owner’s favorite local pub, Brazenhead. The bar countertop with lift-top entrance was custom built by our carpenters to simulate aged wood. The finish looks rough, but it is smooth enough to wipe down easily. The top encloses the bar and provides seating for guests. A TV at the bar allows guest to follow along with the game on the big screen or tune into another game. The game table provides even another option for entertainment in the media room. Stacked stone with thick mortar joints was installed on the face of the bar and to an opposite wall containing the entrance to a wine room. Hand scrapped hardwood floors were installed in the pub portion of the media room to provide yet another touch to “Brazenhead” their own pub. The wet bar is under a soffit area that continues into the media area due to existing duct work. We wanted to creatively find a way to separate the two spaces. Adding trim on the ceiling and front of soffit at the bar defined the area and made a great transition from the drywall soffit to the wet bar. A tin ceiling was installed which added to the ambience of the pub wet bar and further aided in defining the soffit as an intentional part of the design. Custom built wainscoting borders the perimeter of the media room. The end result allows the client to comfortably entertain in a space designed just for them.

Very excited to share what we did on this project. We installed a 75” Samsung Q9 4k TV display with outstanding picture quality, to enhance the quality sound we installed a @sony Receiver for Surround sound. Our client will enjoy high-fidelity sound from this 5.1 channel Surround System. This System is designed to deliver the most sonically impressive architectural Loudspeakers. We also provided audio distribution solution and installed Savant IP Audio 50, featuring built-in ampliﬁcation, audio distribution, Savant Music streamer for complete audio immersion. We set up a Savant Control System with an elegant Savant remote and intuitive App. The Savant Pro Remote gives our client control of all their entertainment, lighting, climate control, and more. This room has a 5.1 surround sound system with a 70" flat panel TV mounted above a fireplace. The center channel speaker was concealed in an alcove under the TV and behind black grill cloth. An RTI automation system was used to control the A/V system as well as indoor/outdoor house audio. Other products used were Marantz, KEF, Sony, and Sharp.

Soft Line LED System for Indirect Lighting uses Commercial-Grade Soft Strip to provide soft, ambient, indirect illumination for decorative and architectural applications. For compact shipment and storage, Soft Line coils like a retractable tape measure. When uncoiled, the Soft Line becomes a 1.25 inch wide cupped aluminum channel that can be mounted on any angle between opposing wall, ceiling or floor surfaces. Soft Line is sold in 5 foot increments starting at 10 feet up to 40 feet and is field-cuttable. The field-cuttable channel has a cupped aluminum form which contributes to the product's structural rigidity, acts as a heat sink, and sheilds the LED light source and related wiring from view. Finish in Satin Aluminum. SLD kit includes Soft Line channel, a pair of turnbuckles, a 6 foot power feed cable and a double row of SS2C LED Soft Strip 3079K Warm White or 2700K Very Warm White LEDs. 5 watts per foot delivering 428 lumens. System is powered by a 24 volt power supply available in 96 watt or 192 watts and dimmed with a 0-10 dimmer - Lightolier SR1200ZTUNV. Can also be powered using a TEB-60L-24DC power supply which allows use of a low voltage electronic dimmer - Lutron Diva DVELV-300P, Skylark SELV-300P or Maestro MAELV-600. Power supply and dimmer sold separately. Fixture includes a 5 year warranty.
