Privateer Rum reached out to Conrad Ello to create a tasting room inside their distillery. The distillery is located inside a three bay warehouse in Ipswich Ma. Throughout the project evolving design decisions drove the tasting room into a space that over takes you with the emotion of their product. Incredibly creative and eye-catching #3dRendering project with the emotional touch from Archicgi Team. This Bedroom Visualization is a great example of what an efficient zoning should look like. Basically, the bedroom is divided into three parts: relaxation space, the bedroom itself and the cinema zone. The best part about this division is that they are separated by a lot of space. Nancy Knickerbocker of Reico Kitchen and Bath in Southern Pines, NC designed the kitchen, laundry room and bookcase in this multi-room project, a mixture of traditional and transitional styles featuring Masterpiece Cabinetry Gannon door style. The kitchen perimeter, bookcase, and laundry cabinets feature a Warm White finish, while the kitchen island cabinets are a Cherry Kaffe finish with Cambria Brittanicca Gold countertops. The kitchen also includes Emotive Astonished White Silk Florida Tile and Kohler’s Whitehaven farm sink and Simplice faucet. The client expressed their gratitude, stating, "Nancy was great about providing suggestions, and with her experience, she knew what would work well together. We are especially happy with our floor tile, backsplash, and countertops, which she recommended. She was easy to work with, honest, knowledgeable, and hardworking. We knew that she would keep our project on task and that we could count on her to take care of any issues we had.” "It is so elegant and provides so much more natural light than our old kitchen. The design provides more space for cooking and entertaining. Our favorite cabinet accessory is the lighted cabinet with glass door. It provides background lighting and elegance to our kitchen," said the client. Nancy explained how the project consisted of updating the kitchen and widening the opening to the family room. "We removed the peninsula and installed an island to improve flow. To have adequate clearance for the island, we had to take some space from their family room. This construction required a new support beam. We removed the existing soffits to accommodate taller cabinetry.” "The new design is great for their family. JAC 189 - Edge of Dawn by Jon Allen The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. A new aspect of the painting will reveal itself to you as it basks in the light that surrounds, evades, or envelops it in that moment. When you see the piece from different angles, you will appreciate how vibrant, dynamic, and environmentally influenced these pieces are. What you may see and feel by morning is not what you’ll see or feel by dusk and in many ways, and as such I feel these pieces capture the ever-ebbing and complex nature of human emotion and perception. Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. This project began with a simple request: “I want something that feels alive.” Our client loved natural wood but wanted a piece that didn’t feel traditional — something sculptural, emotional, and deeply personal. That’s how this custom epoxy coffee table came to life. We selected black walnut with dramatic grain patterns and raw textures. The tabletop’s silhouette is hand-cut with intentional curves — not a live edge, but shaped to echo the tree’s natural flow. Each line is carved to respect the wood’s original patterns, allowing the grain to guide the form. This way, the design feels organic without losing precision. The resin is poured in a deep, reflective black, scattered with subtle white speckles, creating a galaxy-like contrast against the warm walnut. In certain lights, it almost feels like stargazing. This fall, Amethyst had the opportunity to partner with Freeman Custom Homes of Kansas City to furnish this 5000 sq ft European Modern designed home for the Artisan Home Tour 2020! Every square inch of this home was magical -- from the secret staircase in the master bath leading to a private shuttered plunge pool to the vaulted kitchen with sky high mushroom colored cabinetry and handmade zellige tile. We met the builders during the cabinetry phase and watching their final, thoughtful design details evolve was such full of over-the-top surprises like the unique valet-like storage in the entry and limestone fireplace! As soon as we saw their vision for the home, we knew our furnishings would be a great match as our design style celebrates handmade rugs, artisan handmade custom seating, old-meets-new art, and let's be honest -- we love to go big! They trusted us to do our thing on the entire main level and we enjoyed every minute. The load in took 3 full trucks and fortunately for us -- the homeowners fell in love with several pieces so our uninstall trip was significantly lighter. I think we were all a little emotional leaving this masterpiece but sooooo happy for the owners and just hoping we get invited to a Christmas party... Here are some of the highlights -- 90% of the furnishings and rugs were from our shop and we filled in the gaps with some extra special pieces!

Concealed cabinet hinge-devices, a Venetian hand-plastered custom hood, a large Cheng-brand stainless steel sink with cutting board rails, and a slab of California figured walnut used as a bar top offer a sculptural dimension and illustrates Cheng Design's “emotional ergonomics” design approach.
