Example of a transitional family room design in Chicago

After more than twenty years living in their beloved home, this Alexandria, Virginia couple decided to move to a more transitional, contemporary aesthetic. Working with many of their existing furnishings, we transformed the library into a cozy, luminous space while giving the entryway that “wow” factor with a beautiful graphic grasscloth wallpaper. Last, but certainly not least, we added a contemporary twist to the dining room, incorporating an incredible piece of modern art, new seat cushions for the dining room chairs, and a modern LED chandelier.

Example of a large transitional u-shaped dark wood floor open concept kitchen design in Columbus with a farmhouse sink, beaded inset cabinets, white cabinets, marble countertops, gray backsplash, stainless steel appliances and an island

Huge re-model including taking ceiling from a flat ceiling to a complete transformation. Bamboo custom cabinetry was given a grey stain, mixed with walnut strip on the bar and the island given a different stain. Huge amounts of storage from deep pan corner drawers, roll out trash, coffee station, built in refrigerator, wine and alcohol storage, appliance garage, pantry and appliance storage, the amounts go on and on. Floating shelves with a back that just grabs the eye takes this kitchen to another level. The clients are thrilled with this huge difference from their original space.
