With panoramic views of the Grand River, the Calder Plaza, the Ford Museum, and the city's exciting new soccer stadium, this downtown Grand Rapids high-rise condo deserved a kitchen and bath that matched the energy outside its windows. The client's vision was clear: create a modern, sophisticated space that felt warm, inviting, and built for everyday living – all while working within the existing footprint.
The result of this comprehensive, thoughtful renovation and installation by our team proves great design isn't always about starting from scratch. Sometimes it's about marrying the existing space to the new upgrades and making every decision count.

This painted shaker kitchen combines clever layout choices with homely design features for a truly standout space in Thrapston.
Located in Thrapston, this kitchen was a full project from start to finish – one that we’re all really proud of. Built around Crown Imperial’s new Verona range in Grey Aqua, it’s a fresh, soft blue-green colour that works beautifully in this newly opened-up space.
Taking inspiration from our own showroom, this kitchen includes two favourite features – a cosy bench seat and a split level island. The raised platform helps define the kitchen area without closing anything off, keeping the layout open but well-zoned. It’s practical and looks fantastic.
The bench seat adds character and connection to the entrance space. It’s a perfect place to sit with a coffee, put on your shoes, or just enjoy the view. It’s one of the first things you see as you enter the room, giving an instant sense of warmth and welcome.
This was a complete installation. We removed non-supporting walls to open up the space, then carried out all electrical, plumbing, and plastering work, along with new flooring to bring the whole room together. Our team carefully planned and completed every part.
With its soft colour palette, zoned layout and thoughtful features, this kitchen manages to be both open and grounded. It’s a true showstopper – stylish, comfortable, and made to suit this family's lifestyle.

Blair Jones from Reico Kitchen & Bath in Woodbridge, VA, designed a transitional kitchen featuring Masterpiece Cabinetry in the Rockwell door style. The perimeter cabinets are a Dove White finish, while the island cabinets are in Midnight, complemented by Cambria Travella quartz countertops.
The clients shared, “Our main goals were to create a more usable space for gatherings and improve the flow between the kitchen and family room for entertaining. We achieved this by adding a large island with counter-level bar stools and widening the opening between the two rooms. We're thrilled with the results and love entertaining in our new kitchen. We had a very positive experience with Reico on our kitchen remodel and would highly recommend them for any project. The team was professional and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire renovation process. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly.”
Blair added, “The clients had a clear vision but faced a few challenges along the way. We worked together to find the perfect solution, resulting in a kitchen that meets all their needs for hosting, socializing and more.”

Modern Citi Group helped Andrew and Malabika in their renovation journey, as they sought to transform their 2,400 sq ft apartment in Sutton Place.
This comprehensive renovation project encompassed both architectural and construction components. On the architectural front, it involved a legal combination of the two units and layout adjustments to enhance the overall functionality, create an open floor plan and improve the flow of the residence. The construction aspect of the remodel included all areas of the home: the kitchen and dining room, the living room, three bedrooms, the master bathroom, a powder room, and an office/den.
Throughout the renovation process, the primary objective remained to modernize the apartment while ensuring it aligned with the family’s lifestyle and needs. The design challenge was to deliver the modern aesthetics and functionality while preserving some of the existing design features. The designers worked on several layouts and design visualizations so they had options. Finally, the choice was made and the family felt confident in their decision.
From the moment the permits were approved, our construction team set out to transform every corner of this space. During the building phase, we meticulously refinished floors, walls, and ceilings, replaced doors, and updated electrical and plumbing systems.
The main focus of the renovation was to create a seamless flow between the living room, formal dining room, and open kitchen. A stunning waterfall peninsula with pendant lighting, along with Statuario Nuvo Quartz countertop and backsplash, elevated the aesthetics. Matte white cabinetry was added to enhance functionality and storage in the newly remodeled kitchen.
The three bedrooms were elevated with refinished built-in wardrobes and custom closet solutions, adding both usability and elegance. The fully reconfigured master suite bathroom, included a linen closet, elegant Beckett double vanity, MSI Crystal Bianco wall and floor tile, and high-end Delta and Kohler fixtures.
In addition to the comprehensive renovation of the living spaces, we've also transformed the office/entertainment room with the same great attention to detail. Complete with a sleek wet bar featuring a wine fridge, Empira White countertop and backsplash, and a convenient adjacent laundry area with a renovated powder room.
In a matter of several months, Modern Citi Group has redefined luxury living through this meticulous remodel, ensuring every inch of the space reflects unparalleled sophistication, modern functionality, and the unique taste of its owners.

At Kitchen Solvers of Grayslake, we're excited to unveil the stunning transformation of the Lake Villa Homeowners' kitchen space! Witness the remarkable journey from tired oak cabinets and grease-covered surfaces to a warm and inviting culinary oasis. Check out the before-and-after shots of this incredible transformation. Our expert team meticulously crafted custom Legacy Collection cabinets from our Kitchen Solvers line, featuring the Marquette door in Natural Hickory. The double arched raised panel design perfectly complements the traditional style preferred by the homeowners. The kitchen now exudes timeless charm with natural hickory wood cabinets and Cambria Quartz countertops in the stunning Montgomery design. The full backsplash in the same material creates a seamless flow and adds a touch of sophistication to the space. The main focus of this kitchen design was functionality and storage. We combined large drawers and rollouts, including a custom pantry split with rollouts and shelves. Filler spice pullouts on both sides of the hood add convenience and organization to the cooking space. To brighten up the room and enhance functionality, we installed a combination of recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting, and a center ceiling fan. This lighting design not only illuminates the space but also creates a welcoming ambiance for cooking and gathering. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed to meet the Lake Villa Homeowners' specific functional requirements. As avid cooks, they now have a kitchen that accommodates all their needs, with ample storage, efficient workflow, and designated prep areas for their culinary endeavors.
