This garden started from an old vegetable garden tucked into an old estate property. The only element that remained was the privot hedge. My client wished to have a perennial garden that would be in a formal setting. So an axial line was

Spitting lion water feature terminates one of the clay walkways. Custom lattice screens were places around to allow neighbouring vines to grow up and around the feature.

Boxwood hedge surround a beautiful Star Magnolia Specimen tree at the front entrance, which holds a very elegant white flower in the spring time. Red door painted for emphasis and fitting in with the English Garden theme.

RALD was instructed to create a planting plan for this project in Moulsford in order to set off the existing borders, some of which were unplanted, whilst others were replanted to create harmony within the scheme. Pastel pinks, whites and blues were utilised in the planting scheme to create a traditional English garden feel around the 19th Century property.
