In this mid-century track house we have removed the lawn, recontoured to the slope to capture rainwater and filled the space with herbs to be enjoyed in the kitchen, and colorful flowers to be enjoyed by birds, bees and other local insects. The traditional lawn can be transformed into a space that recharges our aquifers, and helps keep our oceans and waterways clean and healthy. Providing more biodiversity with our plantings provides habitat to local wildlife such as birds, bees and butterflies, allowing us to live with nature—not dominate it

The rich, warm tones of the tongue and groove tray ceiling create an inviting atmosphere to sit back, relax, listen to the birds and enjoy the breeze.

Location: Spring Lake, NJ, US Our design goal for this renovation and addition was to present a modern interpretation of Colonial Plantation Style. This home features dark wood floors, wood paneling and a light soothing color scheme. The Dining Room features classic silk De Gournay Wallpaper which further fuses the indoor and outdoor seamlessness of the home. The amazing tile installations permeate the decor with color, texture and pattern. The shaker-style kitchen is refreshed by using black cabinetry, a custom stainless hood and La Cornue Range. This Amish-made woodpecker feeder is crafted from beautiful cedar wood. Durable plastic-covered wire holds suet cakes in place for feathered friends to enjoy all year long!

This stunning pool has an Antigua Pebble finish, tanning ledge and 5 bar seats. The L-shaped, open-air cabana houses an outdoor living room with a custom fire table, a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a sink, refrigerator, wine cooler and grill, a spacious dining and bar area with leathered granite counter tops and a spa like bathroom with an outdoor shower making it perfect for entertaining both small family cookouts and large parties.

We wanted to keep the porch minimal from a cost and maintenance standpoint, so we used Trex decking for the flooring.
