Imagine sitting in your custom spa with the sound of hot bubbling water while the jets relieve the stresses of the day away from your body. Spas come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. When determining the size of the spa, consider how many people will be using the spa at the same time. Problem: Homeowners had a leak in their smelly, damp basement
Solution: Problem solved... and fresh, beautiful living spaces were created!
"The homeowners called us to fix a leak in their basement... which turned out to be a backed up drain, caused by a crack in an obsolete drain tile, and two leaks in their foundation... it sort of snowballed," says Bryan Ogle, owner of Ogle Construction and Maintenance Services.
With small children in the home, the couple decided to invest in solving the problem with a long-
term solution. They wanted to make the basement safe and comfortable for their young family.
After the drain tile was fixed, the entire area was reinsulated, and finished with new sheetrock, trim, carpet and lighting. The electrical system was updated and a new laundry room (with loads of storage), bedroom and family room were created in the space. What was once a damp, smelly basement (with a dehumidifier running constantly) is now a fresh, clean living space for the family to enjoy.

The Harlow's laundry room combines both style and functionality with its white laundry machines, gray cabinets, and black cabinet hardware. The gray cabinets add a touch of sophistication to the space, while the black hardware offers a sleek contrast. The white countertop provides ample workspace for folding and sorting laundry. A silver faucet adds a polished look and ensures convenient access to water. The utility sink serves as a practical feature, allowing for additional cleaning and soaking tasks. The gray subway tile and hexagon tile floor add texture and visual interest to the room. Overall, the Harlow's laundry room is designed to make laundry chores more efficient and enjoyable.

The trick to making a small kitchen feel bigger? Playing with light! This kitchen incorporates all sorts of ambient and mood lighting to create a comfortable and relaxing space to cook meals, entertain guests and enjoy dinner. We kept the existing pass through to the dining area and accentuated this by extending the benchtop trough and having a breakfast bar. This really embraces the idea of open plan living., without having a single large space.

When these customers reached out to us, they needed a respite from the brutal sun that dominated their existing backyard space. The pressure treated wooden deck they had was impossible to enjoy during certain parts of the day which kept them inside even during the outdoor living season.
Archadeck put together a plan and new outdoor living space combination design that provides the shade and solace they need on those hot Hoover afternoons!
By removing the existing wood deck, we were able to start from scratch creating a new deck and porch combination! This new versatile space has more room, plenty of shade and even protection from wet weather. This new area opens the door to all sorts of new outdoor living and entertaining possibilities.

This Transitional Farmhouse Kitchen was completely remodeled and the home is nestled on the border of Pasadena and South Pasadena. Our goal was to keep the original charm of our client’s home while updating the kitchen in a way that was fresh and current.
Our design inspiration began with a deep green soapstone counter top paired with creamy white cabinetry. Carrera marble subway tile for the backsplash is a luxurious splurge and adds classic elegance to the space. The stainless steel appliances and sink create a more transitional feel, while the shaker style cabinetry doors and schoolhouse light fixture are in keeping with the original style of the home.
Tile flooring resembling concrete is clean and simple and seeded glass in the upper cabinet doors help make the space feel open and light. This kitchen has a hidden microwave and custom range hood design, as well as a new pantry area, for added storage. The pantry area features an appliance garage and deep-set counter top for multi-purpose use. These features add value to this small space.
The finishing touches are polished nickel cabinet hardware, which add a vintage look and the cafe curtains are the handiwork of the homeowner. We truly enjoyed the collaborative effort in this kitchen.
