This historic home wanted to blend technology with its charm. If you look closely, you can see a lighting control keypad and audio keypad below the light fixture. We were able to blend the wallpaper to the keypads seamlessly in order to hide the keypad and keep it from sticking out among the wallpaper.

We at Russell Architects have had the privilege of designing a variety of stained glass windows for our residential clients. These are a few examples. Photos by Dan Rockafellow of Rockafellow Photography

For the Orpen’s remodel we sanded and refinished all newel posts and handrail to ebony / red mahogany color stain, then installed our powder coated PC4/1 Single Twist, PC6/1 Single Basket and PC6/4 Double Basket balusters in Classic Black. To finish, we repainted the end caps and balcony caps and applied at least two coats of satin polyurethane on all the stained wood.
