"From the very beginning, it was obvious that Kerry Taylor is a creative, calm, solution oriented person who deals with challenges extremely well. His professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic are exemplary and his crew mirrors every one of those qualities. From structural problems that required immediate resolution to working around other contractors (flooring, windows), to everyday cleanup and protection of our surroundings, they did it all. Kerry designed and built special structures to support the cabinet crown moldings that we had purchased and which turned out not to be as we expected. We hadn't decided on everything ahead of time and the necessary resulting change orders were very decently priced and well documented in his invoices and receipts. He came in absolutely on budget and on time because he knows how to efficiently manage a project so that the workflow is smooth. We will absolutely call on him for future projects." ~ Avis D, Client Single bowl sink, double faucets, under cabinet led lighting, TV center, key cabinet, spice rack pull out, toe kick drawer, rollouts, stainless steel hood, pendant, solar tube, appliance garage. BOK-KETE-PET-ALU - Basket Of Knowledge - Petg & Aluminum Pendant BOK-KETE-PET-POL - Basket Of Knowledge - Petg & Polycarbonate Pendant BOK-KETE-PET-CAR - Basket Of Knowledge - Petg & Bamboo Pendant The Baskets of Knowledge (2009) are based on a Maori creation myth in which the gods gave humans three baskets containing the knowledge they needed to live on Earth. They hold the knowledge of the natural world (Kete Aronui: bamboo basket), the spiritual world (Kete Tuaatea: polycarbonate basket) and our rational world (Kete Tuauri: aluminium basket). David believes that these three need to be in balance for us to live harmoniously on Earth.

The remodeled kitchen features recycled glass tiling that immediately draws you into the space and the lightly colored, frameless bamboo cabinetry brightens the room. The main island was shaped and designed to draw you through the space and act as a preparation area for the green drinks and smoothies the homeowner makes on a daily basis and uses to show her clients how to maintain higher levels of nutrition. The flooring reflects the modern lighting and is made of cork which is ethically harvested. Every last detail is meticulously addressed including the curved knobs and recycled glass teal knobs. One of the drawers near the center island opens up and holds a composter underneath. There is also an urban cultivator that allows the owner to grow and cut fresh herbs and delight in the convenience of the location. The kitchen is perfected and the owner utilizes the kitchen with ease leading to an increase in overall functionality. The look delights every visitor, with a contemporary oasis the owner is completely in love with. Photos: Dan Cutrona Photography Canyon Creek Cabinetry

SteveBuilt Inc. doesn’t only take on residential remodels, additions, renovations and new builds – but we also help our friends in the commercial world. We recently wrapped up this renovation of CUPE Hall in Welland for the public sector employees of our region. On this project, we were tasked with the goal of improving this space for the public sector employees of the Niagara Region. While it certainly came with it’s challenges, we were able to blend our knowledge of residential treatments with our work ethic, communication skills and craftsmanship to enhance this space while remaining on schedule and on budget. This was an extremely rewarding project to complete, and we can’t wait to take on our next commercial renovation in the Niagara Region.
