Castle Building & RemodelingAfter living in their home for ten years, these homeowners are empty nesters. They went back and forth between remodeling their 2nd floor and creating a backyard oasis. Ultimately, they felt a garage/backyard makeover would best suit their lifestyle. They had no privacy, no shade, and a space longing for attention.
Castle Building & Remodeling teamed up with Field Outdoor Spaces to reimagine this space for everyday use, as well as entertaining.
The garage, which was previously attached to the house, was completely torn down. The new garage was built from the ground up, closer to the alley. This freed up space for what is now a lovely outdoor kitchen pavilion.
Held up by wrapped cedar posts and beams, the ceiling is creatively finished with walnut floor planks. At the ground, stamped concrete was poured to create a stone look. The covered patio extends into a walkway towards the new garage, so the homeowners never have to worry about getting wet when coming and going. This walkway also features motion-activated lights, designed to illuminate the homeowner’s path as he/she enters from the garage.
The outdoor cooking/bar area with concrete countertops and stainless steel storage units is the heart of this space. Complete with two ceiling fans, this new space offers privacy, shade, and comfort for parties and everyday use!

Seido Custom Woodwork LLCThis banquette was the client's request to create a more functional gathering and dining place to host everyday activities as well as guest company.
The banquette features V-groove paneling with a custom panel moulding detail.
Custom dimension brushed aluminium vent grilles were made in-house for a sleek and updated aesthetic.
Vent grilles were cut into the base moulding to allow for convection air flow to the radiant heaters.
The painted finish was done with a low VOC water based paint. The finish texture is a high quality "tipped" finish that shows subtle brush strokes for a more period correct feel to the cabinetry as it is incorporated into the existing home.

Berry Design BuildWhen it comes to renovating there are several factors that can pose quite the challenge to take an existing space and transform it into the spacious, livable, visually aesthetic, and functional space desired. However with time, patience, and creative minds combined we were able to create just that space! Turning the existing oversize and wasted mudroom area into the kitchen, and opening up the dining room and living room by removing walls and adding a vaulted ceiling, we were able to create a gracious living area. This in turn became an ideal space for entertaining, family gatherings, and everyday activities.

Signature Custom HomesIn our Contemporary Bellevue Residence we wanted the aesthetic to be clean and bright. This is a similar plan to our Victoria Crest home with a few changes and different design elements. Areas of focus; large open kitchen with waterfall countertops and awning upper flat panel cabinets, elevator, interior and exterior fireplaces, floating flat panel vanities in bathrooms, home theater room, large master suite and rooftop deck.

Tati Goldstein Interior DesignFor this Lake Oconee project, I transformed a secondary living room into an inviting, multifunctional space with a modern transitional style. We started by expanding the room, knocking down a wall, and installing a fully retractable sliding door to open up direct access to the lake. The result is a seamless indoor-outdoor connection that brings the beautiful lakeside view into the room.
The layout is thoughtfully divided into four distinct zones, allowing multiple people to gather and enjoy different activities. There's a large, comfortable sectional facing the TV for casual lounging and movie nights, complemented by additional seating areas for more intimate gatherings or conversations. A chaise in one corner creates a cozy reading nook, perfect for quiet relaxation with a view. This space combines comfort and style, making it ideal for both everyday use and entertaining guests.
