Carolina Allspice — A Fragrant Legacy for Your Landscape
Planting Carolina allspice feels like welcoming a long-lived friend into your landscape. It doesn’t need the spotlight to earn your appreciation — it earns it in subtle fragrance, easy care, and dependable presence.
Every spring, those spicy blooms remind you why you planted it. Every summer, the foliage fills space with a lush, inviting feel. Even in fall and winter, the shrub’s structure adds interest and continuity to the garden.
What makes Carolina allspice special isn’t just one feature — it’s the total experience: scent, texture, resilience, and low-maintenance reliability. In a world where many plants require constant attention, this native shrub reminds us that simplicity can be beautiful too.
If you’re planting for pleasure, practicality, and a touch of seasonal scent your neighbors will notice, Carolina allspice has earned its place in your yard.

The open floor plan is flooded with natural light and filled with design details, including white oak flooring, a designer color palette, and high-end finishes and fixtures. Entertain in your chef's kitchen with a gas range, custom shiplap cabinetry, & gorgeous marble countertops. The owners of this rumored John Hudson Thomas home wanted to preserve and restore the exterior architecture, while enhancing the home’s experience of the outdoors, particularly the huge volcanic rock outcroppings in the back yard. They also wanted a modern kitchen, pantry and powder room downstairs and a new master bath upstairs. We tore out the attached garage/ roof deck that was added in the 60’s and replaced it with a carport more in keeping with the original style of the home. In order to open the rear of the house up to the back yard we filled in the corners, adding a much needed mud room and some additional kitchen space and then added a 12’ wide x 8’ tall sliding door at the rear.

Inspired by the charm and unhurried rhythm of the French countryside, this commercial restaurant project in Kazakhstan brings the essence of Provence to an urban setting. Rachelle Design Lab focused on creating a light-filled, airy atmosphere that invites guests to relax and linger.
Key Design Features:
Spatial Planning: The layout features diverse seating zones, from cozy booth arrangements along the panoramic windows to dynamic center tables, ensuring a comfortable experience for both large groups and intimate dining.
Texture & Palette: The design relies on a fresh, authentic palette: white-washed wood cladding on structural columns and the bar counter, paired with soft French-blue seating and natural oak tables.
Atmospheric Details: Lush biophilic elements seamlessly divide the space, while thematic decor—including vintage-style posters, decorative wall plates, and lavender accents—completes the Mediterranean narrative.
The result is a highly functional commercial space that successfully marries operational efficiency with a warm, romantic aesthetic.

Having bought the home with the intention of making a major change, it is clear form the comparison to the new home how far the original home was from what they wanted. Located in Southern California and a walk from the beach, they bought the home for the large rear yard that is not typical in homes this close to the beach. The clients love to cook so the home is anchored around a large double island kitchen filled with color. The fun in this home is felt through the play on color and texture as you move through the home you are met with different experiences.

Experience the newest masterpiece by OPA & OCD Real Estate with California Contemporary design by Jessica Koltun Home in Lakewood. This gorgeous home has been rebuilt with unparalleled style & custom craftsmanship, offering a functional layout for entertaining & everyday living. The open floor plan is flooded with natural light and filled with design details, including white oak engineered flooring, a marble fireplace surround, floating and custom inset cabinetry, marble countertops, and much more. Retire to your Owner's suite featuring a generous shower and walk-in closet. The rest of the bedrooms are flooded with light and very spacious! This home combines the very best of location and style!

This Primary Bathroom was divided into two separate spaces. The homeowner wished for a more relaxing tub experience and at the same time desired a larger shower. To accommodate these wishes, the spaces were opened, and the entire ceiling was vaulted to create a cohesive look and flood the entire bathroom with light. The entry double-doors were reduced to a single entry door that allowed more space to shift the new double vanity down and position a free-standing soaker tub under the smaller window. The old tub area is now a gorgeous, light filled tiled shower. This bathroom is a vision of a tranquil, pristine alpine lake and the crisp chrome fixtures with matte black accents finish off the look.

Every now and again we have the good fortune to provide our services in a location with stunningly gorgeous scenery. This Cape Neddick, Maine project represents one of those occasions. Nestled in the client’s backyard, the custom glass conservatory we designed and built offers breathtaking views of the Cape Neddick River flowing nearby. The picturesque result is a great example of how our custom glass enclosures can enhance your daily experience of the natural beauty that already surrounds your home.
This conservatory is iconic in its form, designed and styled to match the existing look of the client’s residence, and built to withstand the full brunt of a New England winter. Positioned to maximize views of the river, the glass addition is completed by an adjacent outdoor patio area which provides additional seating and room to entertain. The new space is annexed directly to the home via a steel-reinforced opening into the kitchen in order to provide a convenient access path between the home’s interior and exterior.
The mahogany glass roof frame was engineered in our workshop and then transported to the job site and positioned via crane in order to speed construction time without sacrificing quality. The conservatory’s exterior has been painted white to match the home. The floor frame sits atop helical piers and we used wide pine boards for the interior floor. As always, we selected some of the best US-made insulated glass on the market to complete the project. Low-e and argon gas-filled, these panes will provide the R values that make this a true four-season structure.

This beautifully sited Colonial captures the essence of the serene and sophisticated Webster Hill neighborhood. Stunning architectural design and a character-filled interior will serve with distinction and grace for years to come. Experience the full effect of the family room with dramatic cathedral ceiling, built-in bookcases and grand brick fireplace. The open floor plan leads to a spacious kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances. The dining room with built-in china cabinets and a generously sized living room are perfect for entertaining. Exceptional guest accommodations or alternative master suite are found in a stunning renovated second floor addition with vaulted ceiling, sitting room, luxurious bath and custom closets. The fabulous mudroom is a true necessity for today's living. The spacious lower level includes play room and game room, full bath, and plenty of storage. Enjoy evenings on the screened porch overlooking the park-like grounds abutting conservation land.

Our client’s large family of five was shrinking through the years, so they decided it was time for a downsize and a move from Westlake Village to Oak Park. They found the ideal single-story home on a large flag lot, but it needed a major overhaul, starting with the awkward spatial floorplan.
These clients knew the home needed much work. They were looking for a firm that could handle the necessary architectural spatial redesign, interior design details, and finishes as well as deliver a high-quality remodeling experience.
JRP’s design team got right to work on reconfiguring the entry by adding a new foyer and hallway leading to the enlarged kitchen while removing walls to open up the family room. The kitchen now boasts a 6’ x 10’ center island with natural quartz countertops. Stacked cabinetry was added for both storage and aesthetic to maximize the 10’ ceiling heights. Thanks to the large multi-slide doors in the family room, the kitchen area now flows naturally toward the outdoors, maximizing its connection to the backyard patio and entertaining space.
Light-filled and serene, the gracious master suite is a haven of peace with its ethereal color palette and curated amenities. The vanity, with its expanse of Sunstone Celestial countertops and the large curbless shower, add elements of luxury to this master retreat. Classy, simple, and clean, this remodel’s open-space design with its neutral palette and clean look adds traditional flair to the transitional-style our clients desired.

This one of a kind home offers over 10,340 SQF of luxury on a flat, south facing property with exceptional natural light. The striking modern roofline, oversized aluminum-framed windows and doors, and large spans create open, light-filled spaces. Other features include double-height ceilings, oversized infinity edge pool, a one of a kind interior design with rare imported materials, an elevator, unique theatre room, serene spa, 5 covered parkings including 3 covered Collector's garage looking into the basement, an oversized kitchen & huge wok kitchen, and a bar that’s truly a piece of art! A masterpiece for the discerning buyer who values unmatched design, craftsmanship, and quality.

The overall design objective was to take advantage of every opportunity to experience the beauty of the lake, while providing all the comforts and conveniences of a modern luxury home. The steep, narrow site and its proximity to the lake presented many challenges during construction. The main living area focuses on entertaining family & guests, and includes a dining area with wet bar, study/guest room with guest bath and a gourmet kitchen. Custom cabinetry and built-ins throughout the house add a traditional touch and fill a practical storage need. The master bedroom has its own balcony view of the lake, while the lake level features a sauna, wine cellar and the soothing sounds of the lake lapping at the edge of a stone patio.

Step into your luxurious private retreat, designed to provide you with the utmost in comfort and opulence. The centerpiece of this space is an indulgent freestanding tub, perfectly positioned beneath a coffered ceiling, a stunning chandelier, and a large, elegant window that allows soothing natural light to fill the room. The tub itself is a masterpiece, with smooth curves and a pristine white finish.
Underfoot, heated tiles offer a welcoming touch, ensuring warmth greets every step, especially on those chilly mornings. The pampering continues as you step out of the tub or shower, with the heated floor caressing your senses.
A spacious double vanity enhances the room, adorned with high-end fixtures and ample storage. The countertop is a stunning piece of stone, accentuating the room's elegance. Large, well-lit mirrors above each sink make preparing for the day a breeze.
Luxury abounds in this ensuite, from the gleaming polished nickel fixtures to the exquisite cabinetry adorned with beautiful hardware. The soft, neutral color palette on the walls creates a tranquil ambiance that encourages relaxation.
As you enter this personal sanctuary, a sliding barn door sets the tone, infusing a hint of rustic charm that beautifully complements the overall contemporary design. The door slides effortlessly, revealing your own haven.
This ensuite embodies the perfect blend of comfort, aesthetics, and functionality. It's a space where you can pamper yourself and unwind in the lap of luxury. Every detail has been carefully curated to create a soothing and sophisticated atmosphere just for you. Experience the difference and make this your personal oasis today.

Hasan Ali's Apartment Interior Design – Pallabi, Mirpur, BD
InteriorArt Ltd is currently completing a 1,748 sqft residential interior design and renovation project for Mr. Hasan Ali in Pallabi, Mirpur — one of Dhaka's busier residential pockets where older apartment layouts often no longer match how families actually live today. This project is a strong example of our approach to home interior design: not just decorating existing rooms, but rethinking the floor plan itself to solve real everyday problems.
Rebuilding the Layout
The original apartment had four bedrooms, but the layout felt tight and disconnected. Rather than preserving every room by default, our design team made the call to remove one bedroom entirely, freeing up space to give the remaining rooms — and the shared living areas — room to breathe. This kind of structural rethinking is central to how we approach every residential interior design project, where the floor plan matters as much as the finishes.
A Hotel-Style Master Suite
The bathroom adjoining the primary bedroom was expanded and merged into the sleeping area, creating a single connected master suite. This upgrade reflects our broader bedroom interior design philosophy — treating the bedroom not as an isolated box, but as part of a larger, more functional living experience.
A Kitchen Built for Dhaka's Climate
The kitchen was rebuilt from scratch with an efficient galley layout and premium, low-maintenance finishes — a necessity in Bangladesh's humid conditions where materials face constant wear. You can see how this fits into our wider kitchen interior design approach, where every cabinet run and work surface is planned around how a family actually cooks, not just how it photographs.
One Consistent Design Language
Across the drawing room interior design and dining room interior design, we carried a unified neutral material palette — flooring, wall tone, and finish quality — so the apartment reads as one cohesive home rather than a set of unrelated rooms stitched together.
The Result
What began as an aging, awkwardly divided apartment is becoming a light-filled, modern home with a layout that genuinely supports daily family life. Completed on a 70-day build schedule, the project reflects InteriorArt Ltd's structured, end-to-end process — from first site visit through 3D visualization, material selection, and final handover.

GAVIOTA, SAN CLEMENTE - UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Having bought the home with the intention of making a major change, it is clear form the comparison to the new home how far the original home was from what they wanted. Located in Southern California and a walk from the beach, they bought the home for the large rear yard that is not typical in homes this close to the beach. The clients love to cook so the home is anchored around a large double island kitchen filled with color. The fun in this home is felt through the play on color and texture as you move through the home you are met with different experiences.
The existing home seemed to turn its back on the rear yard, and had it as a destination place. This led to it not being used as much as it could, so through removing walls and moving the master suite to the second story the space opens up and completely lives out to the rear yard. Natural light floods the great room as the kids can be playing in the rear yard under the watchful eye of someone in the kitchen.
The homes new flow allows for the family to live better together and entertain their friends in a piece of art that reflects who they are and their approach to life, fun, alive and full of color.

Thrilling multi-tiered play space for kids with a zip line, climbing wall, swings, and deck with a slide. Prioritizing safety and accessibility for an unforgettable and joy-filled experience.

"About this Home: Upon entering, the grandeur of the home is immediately apparent, with 15' vaulted ceilings gracing the main living areas and a barrer ceiling in the foyer, creating an atmosphere of openness and airiness. The living space, adorned with cedar beams and a gas fireplace, flows effortlessly into the dining area, which opens to a covered back deck overlooking a large private yard—an ideal canvas for creating an outdoor oasis, perhaps with a pool and pool house.
The heart of this home is undoubtedly the meticulously designed kitchen. A culinary haven, it boasts Jenn Air appliances, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a striking custom hood. Every detail was considered to provide both functionality and aesthetic pleasure. The site-finished hardwood floors underfoot enhance the overall sense of refinement.
The master suite, located on the main level, is a sanctuary of indulgence. The oversized bedroom leads to a spa-like master bathroom featuring a freestanding tub, an oversized shower with dual shower heads, and opulent finishes throughout. Ascending to the second level, you'll find a large en-suite bedroom and two additional bedrooms sharing a Jack & Jill bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all residents.
Beyond the impeccable interior, the home is framed by a generous lot size of 0.7 acres, offering the potential to create a private retreat within the city. The vision for this home was not just to provide shelter but to curate a lifestyle—a life filled with refined comfort, entertaining possibilities, and an enduring sense of home. As the builder, we are proud to present a residence where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, resulting in a timeless masterpiece that will be cherished for generations to come.

CSU transformed this kitchen into a timeless masterpiece. We said goodbye to outdated aesthetics and welcomed a fresh, modern look that combines functionality with elegance.
Starting with the heart of the kitchen, the painted White Dove cabinetry brings a bright and airy feel, enhancing the sense of space and openness. Complemented by luxurious quartzite countertops, the kitchen surfaces are not only stunning but also durable and easy to maintain, ensuring they withstand the test of time.
The focal point of the kitchen is the meticulously crafted tile backsplash. The herringbone pattern over the stove adds a touch of sophistication and texture. Paired with the warmth of hardwood flooring, seamlessly filled in where cabinets were relocated, this kitchen exudes a cozy yet contemporary ambiance.
With the sink moved from its awkward corner space, the kitchen's flow is enhanced, making meal prep and cleanup a breeze. The new, farmhouse sink is perfectly positioned to optimize functionality and style. With polished nickel faucets and amazing gold pendants, every detail exudes luxury and refinement.
The ventilation system was upgraded from a downdraft to a sleek recirculating hood, ensuring optimal air quality while maintaining a seamless aesthetic.
The new design embraces the practicality of a redesigned layout, transitioning from a double-height peninsula to an L-shaped configuration, maximizing counter space and efficiency. Cabinets have been skillfully relocated to accommodate a new slide-in range, complete with convenient spice cabinets on each side, ensuring the culinary essentials are always within reach.
With our meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship, this kitchen remodel is not just a renovation but a transformational experience, tailored to the owners' unique styles and needs. Say hello to a kitchen that is as functional as it is beautiful, a space where memories are made, and culinary dreams come to life.
