This open concept kitchen by Thompson Remodeling involved removing walls to allow open flow from the kitchen into the living and dining rooms. The star of this kitchen is the expansive island, anchored by gorgeous columns with features that include plenty of work space, built-in bookshelves, and seating for three. Perimeter cabinets are maple with a caramel, chocolate glaze finish and the island cabinetry is alder with chestnut finish. Other design details include quartz countertops and ceramic tile flooring and backsplash.

The Hasserton is a sleek take on the waterfront home. This multi-level design exudes modern chic as well as the comfort of a family cottage. The sprawling main floor footprint offers homeowners areas to lounge, a spacious kitchen, a formal dining room, access to outdoor living, and a luxurious master bedroom suite. The upper level features two additional bedrooms and a loft, while the lower level is the entertainment center of the home. A curved beverage bar sits adjacent to comfortable sitting areas. A guest bedroom and exercise facility are also located on this floor.

The kitchen features cabinets from Grabill Cabinets in their frameless “Mode” door style in a “Blanco” matte finish. The kitchen island back, coffee bar and floating shelves are also from Grabill Cabinets on Walnut in their “Allspice” finish. The stunning countertops and full slab backsplash are Brittanica quartz from Cambria. The Miele built-in coffee system, steam oven, wall oven, warming drawer, gas range, paneled built-in refrigerator and paneled dishwasher perfectly complement the clean lines of the cabinetry. This cozy lake cottage skillfully incorporates a number of features that would normally be restricted to a larger home design. A glance of the exterior reveals a simple story and a half gable running the length of the home, enveloping the majority of the interior spaces. To the rear, a pair of gables with copper roofing flanks a covered dining area and screened porch. Inside, a linear foyer reveals a generous staircase with cascading landing. Further back, a centrally placed kitchen is connected to all of the other main level entertaining spaces through expansive cased openings. A private study serves as the perfect buffer between the homes master suite and living room. Despite its small footprint, the master suite manages to incorporate several closets, built-ins, and adjacent master bath complete with a soaker tub flanked by separate enclosures for a shower and water closet. Upstairs, a generous double vanity bathroom is shared by a bunkroom, exercise space, and private bedroom. The bunkroom is configured to provide sleeping accommodations for up to 4 people. The rear-facing exercise has great views of the lake through a set of windows that overlook the copper roof of the screened porch below.

Thompson Remodeling updated this master bath by removing an existing garden tub and replacing it with a tiled, walk-in shower. The new shower features a tile accent wall and details, soap and shampoo niches, and a bench. Other updates include the new cultured marble countertop with ceramic tile backsplash and tile flooring.

Gorgeous hickory cabinets in a slate finish make a statement in this modern kitchen renovation by Thompson Remodeling. To create a clean contrast to the dark cabinetry, we installed white quartz countertops and a pale gray marble tile backsplash. The center island features a linear pendant light, lots of drawers for storage, and accommodates seating for four. A bar and beverage center offers space for a wine refrigerator and shelves for coffee and cocktail supplies. To open up this galley kitchen we removed walls between the kitchen and dining room.

This master bathroom features full overlay flush doors with c-channels from Grabill Cabinets on Walnut in their “Allspice” finish along the custom closet wall. This Kitchen features a vibrant red glass tile back splash and acrylic lower cabinets. The upper cabinets are at a unique height per client request. They are 27inches above the counter. This height is both visually pleasing and still functional due to the upper lift cabinet style.
