These Auckland homeowners wanted an industrial style look for their interior home design. So when it came to building the staircase, handrail and balustrades, we knew the exposed steel in a matte black was going to be the right look for them. ​ Due to the double stringers and concrete treads, this style of staircase is extremely solid and has zero movement, massively reducing noise. Our biggest challenge on this project was that the double stringer staircase was designed with concrete treads that needed to be colour matched to the pre-existing floor.

A relatively new product from Ralph Lauren, this is Polished Patina in "Old Rock Crystal". It is a troweled finish that has a lovely pearlized effect and looks beautiful in any room.

This is our own home. We are one of the few contractors that install wood look tile planks with a 1/16" grout joint whenever possible. Takes a little more time but it's worth it!

Rustic antique French Oak Planks - carefully selected by our craftsman, remilled with T/G and endmatched and optional engineered for easier installation and with the authentic patina intact. After a light brushing we oil our planks with a durable VOC free hardwax oil for a 5 year wear warranty.
