These were some poppies we spied at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. This landscaping provided some of our inspiration. For our client, we took their small, dismal garden, and Feng Shui'ed and completely redesigned it. The theme was a xeriscape - with drought tolerant, native species to California. Jennifer designed the Feng Shui aspects of the garden, and Briana Lyon provided the horticultural knowledge. We also designed their atrium to be an indoor/outdoor space with plants, and seating areas. Our clients (and their dog) love the finished product. Now they have strawberries, and artichokes coming straight from the garden. They also get a fair amount of hummingbirds visiting their fountain. This is an eclectic space, which colorfully pumps up the Feng Shui of the homeowners, while giving them a zen place to relax.

Located in stylish Chelsea, this updated five-floor townhouse incorporates both a bold, modern aesthetic and sophisticated, polished taste. Palettes range from vibrant and playful colors in the family and kids’ spaces to softer, rich tones in the master bedroom and formal dining room. DHD interiors embraced the client’s adventurous taste, incorporating dynamic prints and striking wallpaper into each room, and a stunning floor-to-floor stair runner. Lighting became one of the most crucial elements as well, as ornate vintage fixtures and eye-catching sconces are featured throughout the home. Melinda Joy Miller's personalized this meditation garden for her bohemian client. Consultations include over thirty years experience in permaculture, sustainability, and herbology. She incorporates her unique background as a medicine woman, feng shui master, cultural anthropologist, sensorimotor-integrative therapist, and metaphysical healer. This garden was a collaboration between Melinda Joy and her daughter, Kim Colwell, an interior designer and second generation feng shui master. Inspiration for a large transitional master bedroom remodel in Atlanta with gray walls

We created this glorious retreat for our homeowners, who live with 3 kids, 2 giant golden retrievers, and 2 cats. After assessing the Feng Shui and coming up with a design plan, we designed a serene space that encouraged romance and peace. The Carrara marble in the main bathroom is timeless, and really bounces the light around. We used all British faucets, sinks, and a soaking tub, complete with English tub filler. The deal was, the husband got a huge walk-in shower, and his wife got her bathtub. Everyone is happy!

This project is entitled 'Bringing Nature Home'; Where the Coyotes Run. While initially meeting with the client on a sunny afternoon a coyote ran across the lawn. This indicated good fortune was waiting. From a Feng Shui perspective...powerful, positive energy.
