How do you make an impact within a familiar project typology? For our first cafe for Spro Coffee Lab, and their flagship location, we combined a long-held vision of a cafe with a faceted ceiling, their red & white material palette, and the building owner’s desire for an iconic street presence into a unified, minimalist language of angles and facets that extends throughout the cafe. Overhead, a faceted soffit juts out dramatically over the service bar, the two objects mirroring each other’s footprints and satisfying Health Code requirements for a smooth, cleanable surface overhead. Concealing an egress corridor above that bisects the space, the soffit presents a bold visual gesture through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls of this corner space, beckoning passersby inside. The service bar points toward the entry, with a minimalist espresso-tap system as the focal point, and angled sections branching off in both directions to create seating and service areas and direct customer flow. Throughout the space, surfaces customers interact with are clad in chocolate-colored cork, providing a highly textured, tactile contrast to the smooth, white primary materials and complementing the bronze window system, red logos, and customer seating. The unfinished cork is durable and stain-resistant, resilient to the touch, provides acoustic dampening, and is highly sustainable. The result is a cafe that goes far beyond the project brief, creating a memorable experience and an iconic presence for the brand.

He was also the President of Ralph Lauren in Europe and responsible for the boutiques in London, Paris, Dallas, Beverly Hills, as well as several locations throughout Europe. Jerry was instrumental in collaborating with Ralph to create a singular vision for his brand. He later went on to work with Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Mossimo." This holiday table setting is for Luxury Living USA -Fendi Casa Table. It was our honored and privileged to be asked to design their holiday table at their Beverly Hills' Flagship Store. The color board for this table encompasses bronze, black, gold and hint of green. It is a table unlike any other traditional holiday tables but then again Fendi is not just any luxury brand. This is the brand that started as a fashion house into the world’s most known home good furnishings. To truly represent Fendi at this table, we must go beyond the holiday traditional ideas and break the mold a little. It was important for us to bring into this table all the elements that truly represents Fendi without comprising the look of it.

Our flagship material is a show-stopping mix of dense Asian hardwoods that arrive in Portland as transpacific shipping crates carrying steel railroad track. Its proven to withstand punishing conditions of heavy cargoes and rough seas, yet just below the surface of its rugged exterior are gorgeous hardwoods bursting with personality. We reclaim this wood ourselves, to rescue it and give it new life in Jakarta Market Blend. Dark Sort brings together the darker spectrum of our exotic hardwoods. It minimizes the ivory, honey and blond hues present in our Tropical Mix to highlight the dark reds, deep golds, rich browns and graphite tones. It’s extremely versatile – fresh sawn faces are available in many colors and options, and all are well suited to high traffic locations. Each one-of-a-kind floor will have its own unique character and amazing story that will speak to you.

Little Murphy is helping us celebrate National Pet Day with our special Langhorne Homespun Multi-Wilton Weave Carpet! This astounding, multicolored stair runner is an example of one of our great custom pieces. The Ranchwood Prairie finish was chosen to accentuate the natural beauty surrounding this high-mountain Wyoming cabin. Montana Timber Products has the ability to work with Timbers in both Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar and we have several texturing options from a very smooth surfaced option to a Pioneer texture that will look like it lived through a shootout at the OK Saloon. Our flagship product, ranchwood™ is Montana Timber Products’ chemical free, kiln dried, alternative milled rough stock wood. As an ideal reclaimed lumber alternative, the aesthetically pleasing rustic barn wood ranchwood™ is the result of an environmentally safe production process. Offering uncompromising natural, rustic beauty, ranchwood™ is typically less expensive than antique reclaimed barnwood. Added physical and aesthetic depth to the wood grain is available as the Wire Brushed option. Greater surface area is added during the texturizing process, allowing Seal-Once, 100% NO VOC waterfproofer to more effectively penetrate the wood. Seal-Once is guaranteed for ten years from water ingress and is safe for exterior and interior use, pets and children. Montana Timber Products receives repeat orders from contractors who appreciate the fast turnaround time, the custom pre-finishes, variety of color options, and the ability to handle small columns or large ridge beams such a 10″ x 30″ beam applied to this project. If the environmentally friendly and the renewable aspect of natural wood siding is important to you, be sure to do your homework when choosing your siding, interior accents, trim, timbers, or other wood siding products. Some companies choose to use degenerative chemicals to achieve the desired look and texture of rustic wood siding. This is not the case with Montana Timber Products. Vintage wood, reclaimed barn wood and reclaimed barn wood alternatives are very popular building materials due to their aesthetic beauty, traditional look, and chemical free finish.
