In this kitchen, we were brought on to paint the kitchen cabinets in Pewter Green by Sherwin Williams. Professional cabinet painting! We spray all cabinets with an spray gun, no rolling or brushing.

Hammer & Hand collaborated with Celeste Lewis Architecture on the remodel of this gem of Mid-Century Modern architecture. Originally built for the owner of the View-Master toy factory, the house had been cut up by a series of remodels in the mid-1990s. Our remodel focused on restoring the home’s mid-century elegance, improving circulation and views, and adding space for guests and home office. Photography by Sally Painter Photography.

Jennifer had purchased them without having a plan in mind, and until recently, they stayed in the same bag that she brought them home in 17 years ago. Jennifer recalls the numerous times that she had tried selling these pieces over the years, to no avail. CLOSE-UP VIEW This master bath makeover starts with bare walls that have been floated out smooth over the sheetrock. Then we hand applied a beautiful custom tinted, soft grey Venetian plaster. After two coats of plaster, the walls were waxed and buffed. This process seals the plaster, leaving a long-lasting finish. The finished product is subtle and undeniably beautiful! I’ve included a close-up view of the finish below.
