This family decided it was finally time to update their outdated kitchen and revamp the cramped, awkward layout. They created a new, transitional style kitchen with improved functionality and flow, and some hidden gems sprinkled throughout.

Designed as a high‐end renovation in Newtown, PA, this farmhouse kitchen remodel showcases a warm space with white cabinetry, a custom island, and exposed beams overhead. The pot filler, tile backsplash, and functional storage enhance everyday convenience, while stainless steel appliances and a built‐in pantry balance rustic charm with modern efficiency. By pairing wood ceilings with quartz countertops and a transitional style layout, this design perfectly merges comfort and sophistication.

We worked around the placement of a window to position a built-in bench and double vanity along one wall, while the glass shower sits opposite. To make the layout work, we carved out space from an adjacent closet—creating a more functional footprint without sacrificing flow.

The key elements of natural light, the warmth of maple, shiplap detailing, and metal accents were strategically combined to create this kitchen full of functionality while remaining aesthetically pleasing.
